Let's calm down a minute...

I'm with Keck on this one...

Why the hell can't they put in an opt in system that could result in player bounties? If you want that content, opt in. If you want the rewards, opt in.

Noone would be restricted from it, so where's the problem?

If you're worried about missing out on content, that's your decision. It's called risk and reward, which happens to be something this community has been based on for over 2 years.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

Prior to this news, we were actually talking via PM about player bounties for Smuggler, so yeh, I think we can get something together

... whether it'll get anywhere, I don't know.

Sorry, I won't take that. And if your arguement needs obsenities in it, you need to rethink it. And I deserve to be here just as much as you do, I pay the fee to have an enjoyable game.

But why not say something instead of just reporting? You seem to be trying to stand on a moral high ground, but then you don't say something to the person, just report him without trying to resolve the issue. That goes against everything you say, or don't say. Since it's deleted, I'm trying to remember exactly what the swearing was, because I don't recall anything that terrible. Better yet, I don't think it was even modbotted like all the other swearing around here so really, how bad was it?

You contradict yourself here. You say you deserve to be here and pay a fee to play an enjoyable game, but so do the rest of us. The difference is, noone told you you shouldn't get something just because we didn't want it. We pay too, and people saying "NOOO, I don't want to be forced to PvP but access to everything everyone else has"has been the problem around this place for far too long. That's why people get pissy over it. It was a selfish view, sorry to say it, but it was.

I'm surprised at how this forum went from being one of the coolest places to be to being of the places you would want to avoid.

Remember when we used to disagree with others without having to resort to cursing them out? When others would foolishly wander in our den to criticisze us and try to make us feel dumb and we'd turn it around and make them feel worse?

Can we go back to that? I miss those days.

Dude, we always cursed each other out... we just laughed about it as we did it, or at the very least afterwards. But yeah, we didn't get on each other too bad, but we didn't report each other either. We resolved things amongst each other without having to bring somebody else in... that too has changed apparently.
