This thread is legendary! 
Here's a looting story that I figure my fellow smugglers would appreciate...
I'm a MS/MBH and I'm looking for some decent slicing loot (ICBs and the like), so I decide take on the some of new Boss NPCs at the BH terminal. It's hit-and-miss, I hated grinding investigation, but what-the-hey.. maybe i'll get lucky.
After a few marks, I'm getting some pretty crappy loot, so I take on one more before giving up.
Gold-mine! I find a level 82 boss mark with the chevrons and all, and I'm using my spice and smacking him with reckless shots and other rock-star smuggling moves... damn he's tough. This one HAS to pay off!
Finally finish off the NPC and quickly loot the corpse........ an empty cargo pocket? (ff#@@@!!!!)
Out of spite, I name the cargo packet "A FLAMING BAG OF MANURE THAT I LOOTED FROM A LEVEL 82 NPC MARK" and put on the bazaar so everyone can behold the majesty of mediocrity.

Afriend recently started playing SWG. Amongst other game things, I told her about the "drugs" that we make and sell,and that she should never ever try them out as her toon would be addicted to them and would need to be weened off of them and could actually overdose, losing certain skills.
I forgot about this converstion and the other day she contacted me telling me that she had given into the temptation of trying the "drugs", and that she had started puking after the downer hit. She said she was so sorry that she had tried them and was never going to use them again.
I was laughing so hard, that it took me about 3 minutes to respond to her telling her that I was just yanking her chain, and that there would be no permanent side effects.

But permanent side effects would actually be kinda cool... They would need to make spices more powerfull then, though...

WOW zero you definatley have the record for containers inside of containers!
by the way did anyone else notice that after you took the containers out of each other it wouldn't let you put them back in to each other (back when we could put things into the containers that is) just an interesting question of how in the wide galaxy did they fit the dang things into each other if they are and i qute "to bulky to fit into that container" after they have been removed from it?
naw my current record was 6 but the sad part is it was for a real wierd dude in my guild who had been colecting unlocked containers to make something and he tells me WOW now i have enuff and tips me like 20k
then about 20 min later i get an invite to check out his house
i come over and in the middle of his large cor. house is a GIANT P***S(male part) made out of unlocked containers

That has to be the funniest thing I have ever read on the forums. I think I scared my coworkers I was laughing so hard. Had to go outside for a smoke to calm myself down.

This is why you MUST read forums 1st (mental supplement: YES! I'm a noob):
1) I went on bazaar, looking for anything smuggler related. I found a crate of clamps and laser knivesat 10k./think OMGXOR lucky day to start up on slicing containers.
Asucker has been born.
2) Following the trip tothe "smuggler museum" I went to the bazaar again to search for simple toolkits ( I only just recently found out they drop on Lok mercenaries......) and paid 10k a piece for each toolkit.
The moral of this story: I'm going to open a freaking vendor for toolkits
I know you guys love to laugh at noob customers ,but I felt it would be nice to throw in a noob smuggler story into the mix. Enjoy laughing at my expense .

Heh... that reminds me of my first day as smuggler... I was like, "Oh my god!!! I can slice my own containers!!! Soon all the secrets of this game will be mine!!!" I run to the bazaar and I buy 50 locked containers. I call up the radial on the first one, find the "slice" option, cuts the red wire and goes "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! It failed, and now I can't open it!" Oh well... I go on with the next one. Also a failure. But the 3rd one actually clicks open, and I shout a loud "HUZZAH!!"
Needles to say I was a bit dissappointed to find a stone knife and a CDEF pistol inside...

Speaking of, an interesting question I've been wondering for a while is where have the analasys nodes gone? I can see the clamps and knives for sale everywhere. Single AUKs and WUKs for sale on vendors, but no nodes. I do have a "smuggler museum" in my basement until I get a holo to put on the technical counsle. I ended up having to haggle with another smuggler (for a week no less!) to get
a crate of 15 off of him. They don't do anything as far as I know, I'm just wondering why I can find everything else except the nodes.
