I like the encounter with the krayt newb. Sounds like something I'd do. Except, I'd throw him in the warren instead.

"tip me 1mil!" ROFL. Dude, show me a rug, then we'll talk. This loot hunterwon't give you 10kwithout something in return.

The only exceptions are the level ones that I see getting beat up by level 5s. Then I do have the decency to step in and let the creature aggro me with the level 1 kills it and gets the XP.

WOW zero you definatley have the record for containers inside of containers!

by the way did anyone else notice that after you took the containers out of each other it wouldn't let you put them back in to each other (back when we could put things into the containers that is) just an interesting question of how in the wide galaxy did they fit the dang things into each other if they are and i qute "to bulky to fit into that container" after they have been removed from it?

naw my current record was 6 but the sad part is it was for a real wierd dude in my guild who had been colecting unlocked containers to make something and he tells me WOW now i have enuff and tips me like 20k

then about 20 min later i get an invite to check out his house

i come over and in the middle of his large cor. house is a GIANT P***S(male part) made out of unlocked containers

i ran far and fast

wow i nearly peed my pance laughing at that. I even had a guy at work a couple cubes down like "man whats so funny over there"

Not sure if it's exactly a chuckle but...

Last day I was standing in front of a Bazaar Terminal, looking for cheap tools and other things when a guy sends me a /tell (I never saw him).

guy: Do you sell Imp fp?

me: I don't sell fp, but I could buy some for you. But it's kinda expensive [I'm only Lieutenant atm]

guy: How much would it be 10k?

me: Let me do some maths.

guy: k

.......

me: It would cost you about 1.3 mill with just a little profit for me.

guy: 1.3 mill?

me: Yes. I told you it was very expensive. I'm not colonel.

........

........

At this moment I gotbit upset, so I told him

me: "Oh thx, but it's too much for me" or something like that would be nice.

......

guy: Ok

guy: How much would be 10k?

guy: 1.3 mill?

guy: That's too much for me, thx

All at the same time. As you can suppose, the next thing I did was /addignore guy.

I don't like to ignore people but I hate rude people that make you waste your time and don't even say thank you.

The word "tool" may be used as an insult, describing someone who is being manipulated without their knowledge - implying they are naïve and ignorant.

Oh, ok. But it seemed like I was the tool this time, don't you think?

No, a tool would have traded him the FP right away.

Here we go this happend yesterday to me. I was on Dantooine to place some harvesters when I got a tell:

Customer: "Hi there, can you slice me weapon? Got a Delicate Trigger ..."

Me looking up to my head to reassure that the MS-title is still there ... and it was: "Sure, do you have a simple and a finely crafted toolkit as well?"

Customer: "No, sorry"

Me: "No problem, have some in stock,I just have to charge for them as well"

Customer: "Ok"

So we met at Mos Eisly Starport. At this time a was a little bit wondering why he hadn't asked about the price, but I thought there might have been a wonder and he read my bio or he just doesn't matter about.

Well, he handed me out his weapon and I gave it a nice 12% speedslice and opened the tradewindow.

Me: "There we go" *put the weapon in the window*

Customer: "Nice" *clicked on accept*

Me: "...?"

Customer: "Just accept, I'll tip you later"

Me: "Yeah, sure! And I'm the King of Queens"

Customer: "You are new to this, heh? I have no money at the moment"

Me: "You have NO money at the moment?"

Customer: "It's in the bank. You are new, aren't you?"

Me: "Well allright, then let's head to the bank."

Customer: "Youmust new ... are 10k ok?"

Me: "Well, let me think about it ... 5k for the tools, 10k per slice level ... no 10k are not ok, how about 45k?"

Customer: "Lol, youmust be really new"

Me: "Well, that's my price. But of course you can look for another smuggler..."

Customer: *banktips 45k"

Me: "Thanks"

Customer: "Yeah, thanks, but you must really be a new one ..."

Actually, I don't know if 10k per slicelevel is too much or too less, but it doesn't matter for me. I'm not a kind of slicemonkey standing around at starports and shouting:"every slice just 2k ...". That's not the way I would like to play the smuggler. Usually I just slice weapons for myself, guild mates and some personal friends and not for somestrangers who try to rip me off at the end.

Your customer has got a point. You are either indeed new to this game (which would explain your register date) or at least a very relaxed person. No way in hell would I have remained that cool if a punk tried to con me and even had the nerve to call me a newbie for not falling to his lame trick (and I am not that seasoned either).

As for your prices, I think you are quite reasonable. 10k per slice plus material is pretty much common, I think.
