Hi Guys,

Was using my kryat scatter today (351 dmg no pu), and noticed something rather alarming.

I had a power up on it killing Sith thugs on dath, soI had inventory screen open to know when to replace PU. I had cursor over gun and saw it degrade before my very eyes. I could see the con tick off asI was spaming specials. (overcharge shot was not used)

I lost over 300 con in one session. Gun went from 1057 to 797 in one mission.

I removed the power up and while decay slowed , it was still decaying rather quickly.

Is this new? At this rateI will go thru guns on a weekly basis or faster.

Your help is greatly needed.

Thanks, Gunner

(posted exact location and targets maybe the quest thing has something to do with it)

Nothing in the update notes about it atleast, thoughI wouldn't complain if it was this way as I would sell more guns

i noticed this with my plain DXR-6b a little while ago, not quite as rapid as what you're describing but it did seem to decay a bit faster. on the other hand i go through weapons so fast i barely pay attention to the condition.

Can I get an answer from the correspondent about this Maybe.

The damage on my gun in use for two weeks was -75 to con, last night con dropped 300 in on session of play.

Is this a bug or new dacay rate?

Thanks for your help.

There've been no other Correspondent reports of decay issues and the Devs have said nothing in regards to nerfing Weapon Decay.

How fast is your weapon? What kind of powerups were you using?

Its a 1.6 speed Scatter, 351 max dmg (made with 102 tissue and 35%dmg slice)pistol using min/max PU , spamming torso, bleeding, health1 +2, and stopping shot. (no overcharge shot was used ever)

Guns condition is at 500/1057, this drop happen in roughly 5 hours of gameplay, One village escort mission and one raid to DWB. No clonning was involved.

I have been using thid gun for over a month and the previous 26+ days of use the con only dropped from 1057 to approx 950ish.

So something MAJOR has to have channged.

If this is indeed the case then My days of buying premium weapons is over.

This gun cost me 4mil to get. I know alot of weaponsmiths are thinking woohoo more sales. But you may want to consider that your prices will drop thru the floor. I for one would not pay 4 mil for a gun thats decay to next to nothing in just a few days of use.

Thanks for looking into this logix.

Maybe its an effort by the devs to 'clean up' all weapons that are more powerful then they are comfortable with and force folks to use normal high sliced weapons in day to day combat.

Or maybe they simply increased decay when using specials, in preperation for the combat balance.

Its a way to get even more credits in the game to further unbalance the already screwed up economy..

I don't agree, I think it will have the opposite effect.

First they nerfed repair, and now they increased decay to an alarming rate.

Whois going to pay huge bucks for a weapon that could possible only last one day??

Major decay,( I lost 1/2 con on a 4 mil gun in about 5 hours of game play), and then a failure on repair = no weapon.

Any change they make, no matter how small, should ALWAYS be mentioned in the release notes. Anything less is completely unacceptable.
