well currently starsider cannot produce DX2 pistols cause the titanium aluminum is not available, my question is for master weaponsmiths on other servers, whats the average damage, spd, and is it true that these pistols shoot green bolts?

If you added up ALL the stats on our titanium AL it MIGHT equal 1000. Need I say more?

Speed and damage are terrible like every other high-end weapon, and the bolts are green.

Hey guys I got a friend who's a weaponsmith. Can you guys and gals tell me what are some weapon enhancements and where can he find them, please? Thanks in advance. He's novice and he tells me that his weapons pretty much stink and he's desperate for some info on how to obtain some enhancements.

He's not going to be able to make anything non-crap until master, and even then his products will be inferior when compared to what the established weaponsmiths are churning out.

I just made MWS the day after Christmas

Its not the knowledge needed to make good weapons it's not having all the right reousrces thats makes you crap.

Actually, I'm going to go on record saying it's a bit of both. Give two Master WSs the same resources but different time of crafting, and I can almost guarantee one will make a gun that sells more quickly. To scope or not to scope, to stock or not to stock... how to experiment with it, where to put extra points.

They do make a difference in the final result.

I always scope if there is a slot for it as I can make 1/1/1 +12 scopes easily and unless there is another stat on them I don't know about then I dont see why one would not wish to use them all the time!

I hope your not scoping your republic blaster because your wasting resources if you are. Ideal range has no bearing on the weapon because ideal is 0m and pb is 0m. at 0m PB is always used and >0m the max range modifier gets used. Therefore ideal gets completely bypassed.

- It's time the devs end the bitter fighting by giving the community a Non Jedi server. We have a few servers with TINY populations that could be changed to this ruleset. I support this idea because it punishes noone. - You can support it too. Click Here!

Just what exactly, is the use of armor piercing, if it doesn't work against special protections?

If she uses powerups then that's it. The condition loss increase is huge.

All in all weapons seem to be burning up at an increadible rate as of late. I burned through over 1500 pistol condition points this week mastering smuggler. 1500 points someone said it on the weapons repair post. The devs are probabally trying to thin the weapons in the game down somewhat. It could be a good thing. Weapons are a dime a dozen anyway it seems. So anything that thins out the mix might be a good thing.

If you are useing attachments I say go for it. Poor mans krayt it may be, and it may eat a gun alive, but in the end you get the same amount of damage faster.

I have recently gone back to master bounty hunter after finally grinding out a second character slot. In my attempt to finish my carbine slot I noticed that I was burning through laser cabines at a incredible rate. One one quenker I watched the condition drop 25 points( it is unsliced). At first I thought it was the particular maker, but I have noticed it on a couple of them now.

Is there any particular resource stat that determines the rate at which the carbines burn thorugh there condition? I have pistols and heavy weapons that last 4 or 5 times longer. I had one laser carbine burn up on 2 quenker lairs!! IT dropped from 2 897 to 0.

I am just curious as I have not had a ranged profession in 3 months due to my grinding.

Thanks for your help.
