So Iwas having a debate with another WS about the geonosian sword core schematic. Was wondering if someone could clear it up.

I bought a geonosian sword core and it calls for (among other things) "A power cube". I took that to mean any power cube, and so I made one schematic, stuck it in my factory, and now I can make 5 x 1000 sword cores as long as I keep sticking power cubes in my factory (and the appropriate minerals).

The other WS took that to mean that you'd have to use identical cubes in the recipie, and so you shouldn't be able to make more than 5 sets of cores for each cube.

Which was theintent of the geonosian sword core recipie?

Must be exactly identical.

To make 2 sword cores you need 3 identical power cores.

This has not been my experience (I just kicked off a batch of29 cores in my factory using random white power cubes).... in the game they do not need to be identical.

My question is wheather that is intentional or not.

Umm I am looking at two different sets of yellow cubes and they are clearly not identical.

the same colors are not identical, but about only needing the same color powercubes is this true?? can anyone confirm using 2 different serial numbers.

I used all white cubes in my case (mostly cause I didn't want to waste the green/yellow ones because they're more rare). I should go try a green one just for an experiment to see if it works.

I argue this is because the factory schematic says "a power cube", so therefore it doesn't care what power cube you use.

I assume the disruptor rifle is different because it calls for identical power cubes. So I didn't actually try creating a factory schematic for the disruptor rifle.

Yes, the white cubes I used were various serial numbers, I have 29 identical sword cores now in my factory output hopper, they just finished.

i wonder if this works with yellow cubes? Also are there no powercube schematics?

Ok, I just tried a green one. Did not work, it said:

.... has run out of component Geonosian Power Cube (White)

So because I used white cubes originally when I made the factory schematic, it appears that I can't sub in other colored cubes.

well because the other colors add stats and the added stats can vary do you need identical of the other colors to run them through the factory?

Nobody has offered me a power cube schematic .... yet. The guy that got me the cubes said the cubes were MOB drops. But it's a good question because there are sword core drops and also there is a schematic for sword core, so it would follow there might be a power cube schematic ....

if there is a cube schematic that would allow us to mass produce and bring down the price of these weapons for all those who complain about it.
