ack hit return to fast

anyways i came across a pair of unserialed white gen cubes, and was wondering, if i were to put these into a DXR-6b schem, could i make as many of them as i want as long as i have extra white cubes no matter what serial they are since the ones i use to make the schematic had none?
thanks in advance for any help at all

There was an exploit just like that with Krayt tissues. I would not do what you are thinking about doing if I were you. It's a bug in the game that should not be taken advantage of.

My advice would be to /report the bug and destroy the cubes. If you use them you will most likely not like the end results.

Hmm bug it is yes. Odds are though they probabally wont work. Blank clothing and armor attachments do not work. Worse yet it might really blow up in your face. The gun might have no stats on it, or the gun might comeout ridiculously powerful, and if you run a crate of them all with the same serial number a csr will stumble on it eventually, and then you get banned.

i would say that if it works, use at your own peril. just cos something is left in the game doesn't mean it's not bannable.most bannable exploits were things that could be done ingame, but you knew that they were wrong and not what was intended.

Here are some other threads on this topic. I have yet to see any official postion from the devs about if this isintentional or if it's a bug. Frankly it seems intentional to me and don't understand why people feel like it's a bug. But we really need the devs to say if it is or not, or we'll never know.

Its a bug. Not intentional. These blanks happen from time to time. It seems like the game failed to generate a stat on the articles. This happens with clothing and armor attachments all the time. Sometimes you will loot other articles with unlisted stats. Clothing weapons components.

This is a bug, and not one limited necassarily to components. It seems to spread across the entire looted items category. If it were intentional they why would it happen to clothing too.

Never tried making clothes. I just can't imagine how you could make a bug that would sometimes not give serial numbers to things ... Bugs usually have some logic behind them. Did you see the huge flame war when people were using the new schematics in factories? Tons of people were sure that was a bug, but in the end the devs said they intended it that way.

One simple post from the devs could clear the whole thing up. I wish they would just tell us ...

Devs don't tell us if *ANYTHING* is an exploit, ever.

Until, of course, they ban you over it, and then chances are they won't tell you why you are banned.

If you aren't sure, go ahead at your own risk.

There are currently a ton of "possible exploits" that may or may not be how the game was intended to work (including the powerup slice trick)

It's the same circumstances as the unserialed krayt tissue that was ruled an exploit, someone already mentioned it in this thread. Do you really need more confirmation than that? C'mon.

Just a quick 1, I'm sure I heard that White Geo Cubes don't actually do anything. Not sure how true this is at all or even if i'm just plain mistaken/stupid.
