Thunderheart looked very stressed and tired, unfortunately. I was told he just quit smoking the week before we arrived, so I'm sure that must have been hell.

Garvin, however, went out of his way to purchase a very fine pair of leather short-shorts (also known as the "HAWTPANTS") that we all signed in silver ink as a token of appreciation to Thunderheart. I'm still waiting on my pictures, but I'll hopefully have them up soon.

one question....will the iconic starwars weaponry serve a bigger purpose in the future?

I'm assuming you're asking, "Is Solo's DL44 no longer going to be a totally crappy weapon?"

If so, I've no idea, heh. :\

Yep garvin told me about his gift before he went, but I wanted to know TH's reaction (as he has been all quiet about it till the pictures arrive!) Nevertheless, sorry to hear old TH was stressed and tired

Ok another question: Anyone got a picture of Panthu from there? After that thread from the GCW forums...im curious LOL....

Was there any acknowledgement of the Berserker rifle problems?

Unfortunately, no. As much as I wanted to, it just wasn't the time and place. The purpose of the Summit was specifically for the Developers to present their Combat Balance proposals and get our input. Now with 35 people trying to give their input at once, we were running ona very tight schedule moving from issue to issue. And if everybody also tried to get in their current top issues not relating to the Combat Balance, we would have failed at our original objective. So I had to show respect for the time constraints and effort they were already putting forth and keep the questions limited to only the topics at hand.

Not to say that this Rifle still being uncraftable isn't a HUGE issue, it's just one I couldn't be permitted to bring up while in Austin. I'll be damned if I don't get that mfer fixed by Pub 11, though.

Also, TH was very thrilled and surprised at the pants. His old position was a fairly thankless job and I'm sure it meant a great deal to him for usto bring aunique way to express our gratitude. As for Panthu pictures, she is one enthusiastic wildchild and was really the life of the party. I'm sure you'll see many pictures of her from fellow TC-residing Correspondents soon if I don't get around to posting mine first.

No worries, Ace, I was simply curious (as it seems to be the most pressing thing we have on our plates at the moment).

Glad to hear the summit went well, sounds like you guys had more fun than should be legally allowed.

Logix absolutely represented you all great and we Commandos especially appreciate the effort to see Grenades fixed...

I cornered the Programmers a few times on my own regarding Grenades and can confirm it's one of the big issues on their list...

As for the TH's special gift...a little something I like to call "Thunder" Pants...here a few photos a fellow correspondent Tiaga uploaded so far (I've got more coming as do many many others)...
