yeah with the form fitted u lose 10 max damage but gain *@~# loads ov speed, most rifleman on my server go for there ca's and aa's for speed cap so i rarely use them on rifles as there not normally asked for, but if your not capped and looking for a little more speed id pick form fitted anyday, whats 10 less max damage when u gain a great deal more speed . i do always use them in flamers with nice krayt tissues, quick as hell flamers the commando's love em

Stick with the crafted stocks for rifles (unless youre a rich novice who wants a fast rifle that will do you no good once you reach master)

The Form-Fitted stocks are best for carbines in my opinion, since they do not have speed caps that can be reached at master

I'm thinking about having some T-21s and/or DXR-6bs made with my imp stocks, and I was wondering what I'd be giving up by using these as opposed to some other stocks that are available.

check with the WS on your server. Basically the Adv. Stocks require Corellian Deciduous Wood. Never found anything better than 650 or so on Naritus. The Imp stocks that I have seen generally seem to be better than what I make, however I am mostly melee anyways..

The form fitted stocks are used for their speed more than anything, using one will see a huge reduction in the weapon speed when its finished. For example my standard drx6-b rifles have 5.8 speed, i made one using an imp stock and it came out at 4.8 speed.

Hope this helps

the other problem is, last I looked at least, the ADV Stock is broken.

It has an issue in expiramentation.

A crafted ADV stock will also havea HUGE amount of HAM it will add to the finished weapon. On the order of 20/20/20.

I pretty much have stopped using crafted stocks as they are a bigger hinderance to the client then a help.

Where are/were these form fitted stocks looted? Don't think they are available anymore, right?

Its a reward for doing the imp theme park, you either get stocks or something else (I forget the other thing)

OK the imperial form fitted stocks are 25 min dmg 30 mx dmg has a negative speed mod of .5and a 15 ideal range mod

crafted stocks w/ the crafting glitch that allows you to max the dmg regardless of the quality of resources come out to

40 min 40 max a speed increase of 3 tenths of a second wound percentage is identical to the form fitted, has a +10 ideal range modifier w/ 28 across the board for ham cost

so basically you trade dmg increase for no ham cost on the form fitted with the negative vs the adverse increse of the crafted stock. I have never had a customer complain about ham cost or speed

both stocks have their relevance it just depends on what the buyer wants

they are usefull in rifles really only if you are looking to reduce hams but keep damage roughly the same.

I agree. With a rather minumal use of tissues, you can come up with some very nice carbines. They also make nice Flamers and LLCs as was mentioned. Certainly the 10 damage loss is worth the near second gained per round, not to mention the low HAM really looks nice in these weapons.I do however make the occassional DXR6B with em, or T21, as not everyone has rifle speed capped.

Need to be careful using them in Rifles, I used one on a Dxr rifle and then made a dxr rifle with my adv stocks 40-40 0.3 and thier speed difference was little more than 0.1. I'd suggest you make drx without a stock then one with an adv stock to see what the difference in speed is. This may help you determining if your close to the weapons speed cap. Think I've also encounter the same with T21's.

Personnal choice would be Carbine, Flamers or LLC's
