Gone.
My crafting toon is history May 4th. My main toon, I already cancelled my account though my wife wants me to stick around till the CU goes live so we can at least play till then, which I may do.
I should be totally clear, the ORIGINAL concept of the CU sounded great, and if it was put into the existing game would still be great. Its all of the stupid wizard effects that are totally driving me nuts, compounded by the cartoon interface, the level system as it currently is. The fact that they seem to be intent on making the game so simple that an 8 year old can play it removes all challenge, and hence interest for me.
Cheers,

I've decide to give it at least a month. I think that is a fair shot at letting it grow on me. After that, I'll be coming up on my 3 month renew date and will decide then.

LEFT already.
I cant see them changing anything to conflict with their interests.
800+ tissues, 100+ Nym motors, 40+ NS vibro units, 200+ Gorax bone shards, 1000+ various cubes (as high as 51 dmg), and all the best resources all goin POOF.
It was FUN though. As well as a awful addiction.

Yes it *was* fun wasn't it. I was there on day 2 (day 1 had some problems, if any recall...).
This CU has me losing interset in SWG tho' and looking elsewhere. They are very stubborn about things I think. Crafters are being treated very badly.

Count me out too. Cancelled my monthly payments today and around till May 16th so I'll get to try the CU if I bother to log in, but tbh SOE and SWG are pretty done by me. This CU is making a whole new game and setting pretty much everyone back to square one even after we've invested 100's of hours into our characters. So hey, if I gotta start over, it's gonna be with a game that gets some love and care from it's developers and owners, and right now I'mhaving a lot of fun playing Eve Online. Don't know if I'll stay there, but my days on SWG are over I think, unless something happens to drastically change my mind, I'm just bored of it as it is, and the changes don't make me want to stay either... it's been a fun ride, but even zooming around on my jetpack got boring
I hope they fix it, or release SWG2 from someone other than SOE some day as I love SW to death, but this game as it stands is done for me.
I keep popping in to the forums to check on WS CU info, hope it works out better than it looks now for those who choose to stay.

I'll stick around initially, to give it a chance. But if crafting turns out to be as gimped as it's shaping up to be, I'll probably cancel at least two of my accounts. I may pick up shipwright again (as it will be the only crafting profession leftwith any degree of consequence)and play around in space, but I think that would eventually get old too.
I really, really hope that the weapon hardcaps are there just for testing purposes, or that the hardcaps are drastically raised when the CU goes live. If either of those happen, I'll definitely continue as a WS. If they don't, then I don't see much point in being a WS anymore.
