I realize that the stats will vary depending upon the quality of the materials but could I get some of your stats on the Advanced Rifle Stocks as a comparison
Mine are
damage 25/24
speed .520
wound 7
Range 6
HAM + 28
The HAM seems a bit harsh and the speed penalty may make these not worth making. Any ideas?

I found stocks really tricky for a bit. Then I found a thread here that said the exp is borked. I can never make the same stats back to back, but if I try for awhile (11 tries last time) I can get: 40-40 dmg, 0.292 spd, 10 wound, 10 ideal, 28 ham. But I'll see variations from high 20's for damage and speeds as slow as .4xx.

I get 40-40 at 2.83 HAM 23/22/23. That is with a +25 to experiment and 2 amazing succes on the dmg. Takes me about 50-100 runs to get thee stats.

The trick is to do six experimentation points on the first run, Then one or twos after that. You will make near fourty fourty each time. Unless you get a good success or failure. All you got to do is stab at it over and over.

Adv Stocks they seem to be the most rewarding item to experiement. Never quite sure you have the best results

The actual stats for the SR don't even seem to matter much. Getting 40-40 is fairly easy, its the speed that's the harder part for me. +0.290 is the best I've gotten so far. And it always seems to take at least 50 tries to get there.

off the top of my head the wood has a SR of about 650 and teh link steel is in teh ball park of 800-850

I have a similar resource but my adv.stock have only speed about + 0,41

Stocks are well worth it for the SAC reduction, and remember to move the decimal point one point to the left for speed, so yours actually add 0.0629, well worth losing a chunk of SAC for in anyone's books. The ones I predominantly use are -23 SAC, 0.955 speed.

I did no know to move over the speed. So I should experiment more in SAC then. I heard someone tell me -17 was the best post-CU, so once I hit it I experimented in speed.

Okay, so here is my second go at it:
Attack Speed: 1.233 (So thats really 0.1233?)
Wound: 4
Action Cost: -24
This about what you guys use in your exceptional weapons?
