god how i hate *Can u make me good xxxxxx*

I hate it even more that ppl who cant freaking spell mobs name are are only 5 letters long.

Some ppl dont even know what krayts are, they think that we make them when we have nothing to do.

I wonder how many variations i have heard of that name by now.

So my friend you are not alone and that is a curse for these who are big time sellers (heh thats probably what keeps me as small time ws, since i just dont have what it takes to educate 75 of 100 ppl who ask silly/dumb things)

My favorite ones are the ones who come to my shop, look at my vendors, then ask "Where is your composite armor?" or "Can you make me a medium naboo house?"

What part of "weaponsmith" don't they understand?

I'm glad that I havn't come across this one yet. I might just freak out. I get tired of can you make me a kick @ss laser rifle. I say, yes, if I use my +120 Krayt tissue but will cost you this many million to cover my cost of the tissue. Then I get the **edit**, you are way over priced. I have a friend who sells at way lower than that.

That whole scenario drives me absolutely crazy.

What I hate are people who ask "Can you make me a weapon that's better than my current one?" when it's blatantly obvious from the stats that their weapons are sliced. Then when I tell them this, they refuse to believe me.

Ok. Now i preface this by saying that I usually try to bend over backwards for any customer that I may have. From shuttling to my shop from another planet just to make a single weapon for a customer, to lettingnew playerspay me in installments. (on occasion) I need to see if I'm the only person who feels this way about these three things. Sorry if this post is long.

1. I have nightmares about the word Krayt. Everytime I hear it now I acutally put down weaponsmithing and go out to level up in Pikeman. Pikeman! My miserable pikeman skills actually give me more pleasure than dealing with one more customer who wants a Krayt this or a Krayt that. "How many Krayt things do i need to make weapon X kaih?" " Do you sell Krayt?" "Can you put these Krayt tissues I have into these guns so I can RESELL THEM!!!!" I've put weapons together for complete strangers, thinking the guns were for them, only to have them tell me to my face that they were reselling them for over a million credits each.....after i completed the secure trade giving them the weapons.

2. People who insist that I email them my waypoint after I've just told them that my vendor is listed on the planet map. This is even worse when they are on the same planet as my vendor at the time. Even worse than that when they ARE IN THE SAME FREAKING CITY WHERE MY VENDOR IS!!! I want to grab these peole by the neck and scream "Hit control V!" Why did I spend the time and skill points in merchant to get a vendor listed on the planet map if I'm going to have to do this for every customer?

3. Why...why god why would a customer ask me "Are your weapons sliced?" when standing in front of my vendor that reads Kaih's UNSLICED Weapons. This one is beyond me.

The only reason I'm keeping my Master Weaponsmith status is for the convience of myclose friends, and myself. I've had the little "Tosurrender this skill please type "yes" in the box below" box up so many times in the last couple of days. Please tell meI'm not alone. Please.

Almost forgot....don't know how this one didn't make the list seeing as it is my biggest annoyance. Anyone...ANYONE.... who asks me "Do you make good (insert weapon here)" Good? I've honestly a couple of times told people that i sell overpriced pieces of crap and that i've never made a "Good" weapon in my life. Everything i have is made with advanced components. Even after i tell them that they still ask if it'll be Good. This question frequently causes me to take my Master Weaponsmith tag off (which i am very proud of) and pick up my vibro lance to go slaughter countless meatlumps.

you aren't alone at all.. only been a weaponsmith for about three weeks and the krayt question is horrible. so is the 'is this unsliced?' question on my vendor, heh.

oh, and the 'hey, can you make me a (blank) that's better than the ones on your vendor????' question makes me want to hurt things.

Oh, I love these threads, they always make me smile

especially because it's all true. However, my personal favorite, I don't think anyonecould ever top:

I had my master weaponsmith tag on (like i always do) and i noticed a couple people being attacked by something that i could tell was going to kill them. So i go and help out, then heal them up a little bit. And we're sitting around chatting afterwards, and upon noticing my tag one of the guys says to me, "Sooo...do you make weapons? Is that the deal?"

I was so stupified by the idiocy of the question, I couldn't even come up with something witty. It still makes me chuckle.

I had a fella ask me if I made Krayte weapons, I replied no only sliced, he laughs at me and shows me his gun and the benefits to a Krayte weapon.

It was a Adv T-21 Model 101s, it was one of mine (Model 101s is my signature for my weapons)

I laughed and said.

“Mate, you have a Model 101s, it’s one of my weapons, it’s sliced but has no Krayte.”

He replies “Your lying, I have a WC friend that told me in order to get these kinds of numbers it had to be krayte enhanced.”

I replied “Mate, look at the maker of the gun if it says “Skyy” or “Arkkyle” its my weapon.”

He gasps. “But my friend got master WC a few days ago and can not make anything this good.”

I replied “Mate I’ve been on Sunrunner two weeks after it went live, he won’t be able to make items like this for a while simply due to mineral quality.”

He says “That sucks---its not fair that you can be a better WC than him simply because you’ve been here longer.. BTW can you make me better T-21??”

- I supported the CURB, the Devs and the attempt to make SWG a better game and have realized it didn't work so I'm quitting in less than 2 days and won't be tricked into coming back again. Trick me once, shame on you...

This is precisely why I simple stock my vendors, ignore ALL tells from EVERYONE, then logout and log on to my combat char.

This is also why I NEVER wear my master smug tag on my combat main.

Me: "Well then, there's your answer."
