Thread: What're y'all charging for rocket launchers.
Just rolled my first few off the factory. -**edit**- these are a pain to make. I'm thinking 70-75k (since my server just now got the resources for them), but compared to HPBC that's not terribly efficient. Anything too much less though, and it's really not worth my time.
Considering it takes what, 10 factory runs to make a launcher? Lets see 5 for the grenades, 1 for the proj feed mechs, 1 for power handlers, bah cant think without my crafting pad up... Lets just say these are a bloody headache for a NOVICE commando weapon... But i sell my on the average for... 50k. First run i ever made, i did 25... Put 20 on my vendor for 50k... 1 hour, and YES 1 hour later, all 20 were gone! Quickest million i ever made
But considering i charge 25k for particle beams and such and those are easy, for all the work for rocket launchers, 50k is a fair price...
im not in the norm here.,... but .. I ONLY do them per special order. I always have one *in stock... hanging on the wall with a big red sign that says : BY SPECIAL ORDER ONLY ..
but, I only charge 25k.
I have sold 3 to date since the patch that made commando's commando's... I made up enough components for 10. and sat them in a special bag. when I need another, in the factory it goes. and the one on the wall is sold. replaced when the oven is done baking...
I am in no hurry to push them out the door.. but I don't feel 50k + is fair either since it essentially is expendable in 30/33 shots .. which will be used in one battle....
mine max out at 3943 damage and are 30 charges. I charge 50k so that the run of 19 i made last 6 months. After this patch I was with a guildie using a rocket launcher against a NPC AT-ST, we kept the AT-ST distracted with a graul, 2 probots, anda cowwardly gurrek. The pets didnt damage it but after setting it on fire with a flame thrower it was pounded witha few shots from a rocket launcher. We took down 2 in a row and the actual combat was less than a minute or two. My cowwardly gurrek didnt even incap and its hams are moderately low against a at-st.
It might be a novice commando cert but as they increase in heavy weapon skill tree they gain speed and accuracty topping out around heavy weapons3. Missing sucks with limited use weapons.
