Thread: going over damage cap.

i have seen many people with t21s 1228 and so on dmg with a slice, and these were made maybe 3 days ago. how is this possible?! i thought u cant go over cap on dmg or speed with a slice...please help me out.

thats the thing, they arent, i saw it with my eyes, and iw as there to watch the gun b made, but not sliced, maybe somehow u can go over dmg cap with a slice..bah i dont know

I test this out on a damage capped blaster fist the other day. Applied a +damage/-speed pup, it applied, but not stats were modified. Unless this is a bug, that's what I've seen

the condition will be xyz/88x if its post-cu crafted. Otherwise its converted form a pre-cu weapon.

Yeah, I thought so, but I think there is a hard PUP cap as well. Because unless my math is wrong, my 889 max damage carbine should PUP to above 1030 with a 30% damage pup.

What your seeing in pups is just lag. I have th same thing happen with a weapon. I'll have my damage capped scatter pistol. Pop on a damage pup. And the pup wont show up along with it's effects usually for up to a whoel minute or two. But it definately does go over the cap.
