I was just wondering if anyone knows what sort of Hammer could be crafted with a 105-147dmg bone. I do understand there are a few other variables that would factor speed and damage, however, lets presume we will use better than average cubes, agents and cores.
Thanks for the time,
Throw cubes and agents out if it's acklay bones. The bones replace the reinforcement core. Geo reinforcement cores are what uses the cubes and agents. You have to choose which one will give better results, and it really depends on the loot. Those are pretty good bones if Im not mistaken, but cant remember what the stats were on ones I had.
Also cant remember what the stats were on the Acklays hammers I made a while back, so Im not much help. ![]()

Max would be around 575 unsliced.. can't think of what the min on a PH is atm.

I stopped bothering with making Acklay Hammers from 65/65 bones. Unless the Swordsman is speed capped, the speed loss lowers the DPS far more than the increased damage can make up for, in addition to the horrible -40ish accuracy it will have. Now I just throw them in gaffi's or stun batons for the hell of it.

This works for most servers i think and is just an estimate
Subtract 40 from both max and min on the bone. In your case that would give min 65 and max 107. Add these stats to a player made PH. Atm the standard is 137-468 @ 5.3 on my server. This gives you a PH with 203-575 @ 5.3. Then you add .6 speed, which gives you the final stats 203-575 @ 5.9. The stats vary a bit from server to server but the 40/40 -.6 is a good average for the core stats on most servers i think.

Well, I have some 74 min76 maxbones. I was shocked when I got nothing but great successes and they came out with 171 -504 max (no biggie) but 5.9 speed! Why would using an acklay bone change my speed! I was getting 5.3 on regular power hammers and I see nothing on the acklay bone stating that it adds speed.
OK I just checked my reinforcementcore. -.57. Ok then that explains everything. How much would a PH that was 205 - 604 go for with 5.9 speed then? All things being equal on two PH's the slices were 20%. I had one guy tell me he was not at all interested. Would these things only be worthwhile if a speed slice were to have come up instead?
Next question. So, geo reinforcement cores with good stats would be preferable here? Or do people not care if the bone is over 100 damage with 5.9 speed?
Thanks for your help.

Im not 100% sure what you are asking. A bone with 74 dmg will be made into a hammer with around 33 more dmg than your normal hammers. But then of course if you get bad dmg slice on it its not better than your normal hammers with good dmg slice.
The speed is not good (5.9 or 5.8) but many people dont care as they are speed capped.
I think the Special attack cost is lower also on acklay ones. At least mind cost.
But basically the lack of interest you may find is because that the bones is not that good.
Not sure i helped...

I dont know what other smith's do, but if its my bones i craft anything under say 120 max into stun baton's or gaffi's.

the slice is the problem...when you're only getting a small bonus like this, the slice is critical....even tho you used acklay bones for instance, if i got a 33 dmg slice on the hammers i make NORMALLY, it'd come out with more damage than this power hammer...so...yeah...basically im saying the slice is all important.
