Thread: Is the weapon damage cap being fought?

We have reports of experiment when it gives a system message saying that you cannot experiment past so and so. Any points in that tree doesnt increase that stat.
Well, at least it will encourage us to use some of the other branches of experimentation.
So, we can't influence condition (except by resource quality) we are capped on damage. Experimenting on elemental damage has limited returns, I guess that just leaves speed and whatever else they've left us to experiment on.
Is there a list of the different experimentation branches for each weapon type floating around?

Yeah that is a big 10 - 4. I am not selling any resources to any otherWS'son my server. I have been contacted the past two nights by WS's wanting resources. The only saving grace is that theyknow I have the best.So far this new systemwill take the "craft" out of crafting. I spent so much time collecting resources on my own with my own harvesters - over a year before even going WS. Now everyone wants to be a WS before CURB or to be a sugar momma to their Jedi. Now with the bazaar searches you are even more nameless and faceless. It is getting to the point that everyone will have to Wal Mart each other with pricing and nothing will differentiate the WS's. Not even being a 12 point if you have experimentation caps. If resources are so damn important why have a cap? You are penalizing the individual that looked at crafting as an important facet of the game. I am really trying not to be negative, but it is becoming harder to do. I mean I busted my butt to get to 12 point and to get these resources. I make the best I possibly can. I don't really like to toot my own horn, but it is nice to hear that you make something the best on the server (my grenades). Now, I have been buying/saving loots for the CURB if this gets hosed I will be a real might teed off. I mean the new weapons will be great and all but if all this is just another addition to the laundry list of things to help balance the economy (see below)well then I am sickened. AND the fact that a lot of people used their resource deeds before the changes to the crafters were annoucned - not even cool. Glad I only used one - but for avian meat which I think will be useless post CURB. For craftersthe CURBis an EURB - Economy Upgrade ReBalance.
PS I am sticking with it and will be trying it out.
