Simple question really. I did some advanced searches and couldn't find the answer so, here goes:

When should I repair my weapon to avoid losing actual stats but get the most usage out of it first?

Thanks, StGabe.

Good question...

I usually have my PA members bring me weapons before they reach half on durability.

Sometimearound the last 25% of its condition.

Yeah I do all my work on 25% or less. I know it is at this threshold that the weapon starts losing d,g but this is when you get it to repair best without losing overall con which is equally important. Also I've found repairing with power ups left on can sometimes screw up the stats so remove power ups first.

Dev' Eloper uses Combat Balance Reschedule on you for 6-8 months worth of damage points!
You shoot your mouth off on the forums but miss! You post constructively but it is deleted!
Ubercred It'Duper tips you Cr 27,000,000,000,000,000,000 but you evade it!
Dev' Eloper uses Publish 10 Vendor Fix on you for 55 item limit damage! Your vendors and 12 months of work have become incapacitated!
You use Cancel Account Button on Dev' Eloper for $15 p/m of damage!
Dev' Eloper tries to use JTL Expansion pack on you for $50 worth of damage on you but misses!

You use windows sys32 fdsk utility on StarWars Galaxies program files for 2.4Gb of damage! StarWars Galaxies: An Empire Developed is no more!!

I would so more between 30-40%. Because you all know how hard it is to find someone to repair your weapon. I don't really know why people think it is hard to find someone to do it, others just say it is, I personally have never said no to someone about a repair.

Wow I sure wish I had read this first. Just repaired my fwg and it went from 75-190 to 15-52.

The repair message just said "... with minor blemishes". Bleh.

most of my weapons were repaired by a master weapon smith at 50% condition and 7 of 10 guns were repaired without any condition lost and all sucess repaired with only 10-40 condition wore off...he was using 99.8% repair tool!

Removing powerups via radial menu can also screw up stats unless they fixed that recently.

when a weapon reachs 25% condition it suffers a stat loss 9that sumtimes can be fixed with repair)

so it is best to fix a weapon before it gets that worn

I have tried fixing weapons using a 99.9999% functionality tool ( not be confussed with saying its 99.9999% chance of a repair)

wearing my +25 weapon repair cloths

and ive determined it is best to fix a weapon when its around 50% for best repairs,,,

seen to many 800/996 weapons fall to 776/776 on a repair thinking its best to repair them often

Ive even seen a pair of vibro knucklers at 350/770 repair back to 950/950

its an odd thing, but all in all, a roll of a dice

Repairing is a risky business, so I'd wait until the final 15% to get the most out of your weapon.

Thanks.

25% as the cutoff for weapon damage means that I think I'll wait until 30%. I've yet to have any repair other than "blemishes" with my 98 tools but this is a very important nightsister LVA made with nightsister vibro units.

25%-45% left for me...

Also...A CSR in game confirmed that the effectiveness of repair tools has no bearing on the result...totally random...wish I had a screenie of it
