Thread: WHAT do the NEW feed mech's DROP off of?

I read the patch notes that a new feed mech is dropping off a new mob. I can't for the life of me figure out which mob is dropping them. I know NYM's dropped the old one, is it still them? Or is there a new mob droppping new/better feed mechs.

The word on the street says the new component is a Gorax Bone Shard. The gorax is a super-rare spawn on Endor. I know there used to be a mission that would make one spawn, but i'm not sure about that now. People have been having lots of trouble finding the gorax.


Anyone have info on the Gorax? Has anyone seen one since the patch?

As far as I can tell the only shards in existence are from Pre-Patch. Gorax are not spawning currently....

But in the patch notes it says: New feed mech, start looking.


So prepatch Gorax stuff isn't what they'd be referring to.

I'm sure these are not good mechanisms (the ones off the thugs). Give us the stats so we can judge.


The notes said there will be Advanced Projectile Feed Mechanisms that rival Krayt.

"projectile feed mechanism" loot is useless crap that drops from meatlumps and every other NPC in the game.


the enhancer thing is gorax bone shards. since they removed the mission that spawned a gorax, i've only heard one unconfirmed report of anyone finding a gorax.

Those are the old ones and the +20 is the norm.

i looted 3 projectile feed mech enhancements off some nym's guards today on lok, only +20 max dmg though

One of my BH friends slaughtered his target and got four Vibromotor enhancers with -.2 speed mods, so maybe this is another BH mark thing to encourage the Investigation tree and mastery of BH?

I got 2 projectile feeds off a mark the other day with 35 damage and i think it was .2 speed. I could be totally off base but will look when i get back on.
