I think if you read Summer's last post and the corresponding post by Red-Dwarf, the Entertainer correspondent, over in the Shipwrights forum, I think it is obvious that the Devs have already responded to the posts in the correspondents forums, but they have been told they are not allowed to share their response with the crafting community of this game.

I am 1000000% sure that it has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the resources currently spawning on Mustafar. The Mustafarian steel has a CD not even close to the best Crytalized Bicorbatium on Corbantis. That's well over 800 on CD and 1000OQ, yet something that uses "iron" (i.e some subcomponents on ships, and some weapons) is coming out worse than it used to pre pub 24. The component I have used for basis of test runs on 50/50 CD OQ and req "Steel" and Fermionic Sillicastoc Ore (of which I have the highest spawn on the server for OQ, as it has no CD).


Now there are other parts thatone of the Mustafarian Resources WILL effect asis is now the current "best ever", but when used it acts like it at least, for the most part....(the Aluminum is CD 977 OQ 927... I cheated and used a 30k deed for testing purposes). BUu even as a "Best Ever" It does not fullfill the = 1000 as best ever CD. (running tests w/o hte Crafter buff to keep it on pure resrouce numbers).


Obviously only CD has been nerfed as I can rock out armor plates on ships that use the "best Ever" spawns, and the armor plates I make now = the ones I made pre pub 24. So OQ, SR and HR dont seem to be effected

For all off you asking for response to this. I have to say I have made a post on the correspondent forum and have yet to recieve a reply as to wether this is intended or not. (I still believe it is a bug, but that is only me guessing and I could be wrong).


I promise the second I have any dev information to be sharedI will post it here

Personally I think its a joke that they havent commented on this yet.

This will not be the first OR the last time this has happened. I'm not surprised that there is no word yet.

Kaja, are those named resources your using for the armour plates ?, It seems the issue really only effects anything needing named resources (who's stats cap low) ie Rhodium Steel etc.

Personally, I am starting to believe that maybe we won't hear anything conclusive from the Devs before the release of ToOW. They've already lost a load of pre-orders and if they give out more bad news ('this is working as intended') they'll lose even more.

The more posts i read and think about it i miss pre-cu it's becomming less and less fun i might even stop like so many of the great smiths of my server has. I miss the challenge. New resources are fine i could handle the jtl resources i handled the CU change but now this again. Every damn pub there is a nerf or a change that negatively effects me. And i'm beginning to really dislike crafting. Ugh guess it's time for a break till after toow thingy.
