Thread: No serial number cube --- exploit or by design? --
This is weird
im in the cave right now. So far have looted 21 power cubes, all white, all without serial number and nothing else but cash and trash. This sounds like a pretty serious bug -the only loot available is supposedly an explot - if its not deliberate. Im just starting the weaponsmith grind and am a little perturbed by the whole thing. A comment from developers about why ONLY supposedly bugged loot is dropping would be helpful

ALL geo loot brought to me at this point has no serial number. Most generates them after reboot, but what about weapons made with serialess ones Logix, what is the status on developer stance? If i use one serialess yellow to make the schem, and then make 6 cores (6being the total schem run) am i going to get banned? What do we do when the customer is standing there with there fresh geo loot and u use 3 serialess cubes in a schem to make to cores to make 1 scythe? Are we going to get banned for that too? Or is it based off of total weapon count ie: 2 identical scythe's ok, 3 u get banned? The last was the premiss i am basing my logic and ethics on at this point, but would like some conformation from Logix.
First, I really don't see how a CSR, DEV, whatever can go into the game and ban someone for doing something they don't even know is an exploit. The TOS says we aren't to use exploits. I have YET to see any text anywhere that tells people what actions are considered exploits. Heck first time I got a no serial number loot item I thought it was an intentional, 'rare' loot drop. Saying things exclusively in these forums is not an acceptable way to communicate (the chat rooms either) because the vast majority of players never come here. Heck 95% of my posts have been in the Trade forums, I rarely go anywhere else in these forums because of flamers and trolls.
Second, since most people that want geo blasters are PvPers and most PvPers have this "it must be the best possible" syndrome, even if you made a factory run of Geo Blasters with white cubes no one would buy them.
