Ive worked it out today and you can make master weaponsmith in less than half a day if you can do without a pi$$ and food and beer for LESS than 12hours!! I know dome people play 10 hours a day so 1 day of boredom for a master weaponsmith? maybe.. not my cup of vodka but still...
you need exactly 453008 steel/iron making pro rifle barrels
this makes 9848 barrels in total for master
and THIS equal exactly 11hrs 25 mins with a 4sec long macro
I use 3 macros and 3 tools with short 2-3 sec delay for resources and then the 1sec pause for the next tool to load.
The advantage of this method is a single resource. I take out my mouse ball and position the pointer over the crap steel and then click while doing something FAR more interesting like anything.
Using the said method mean you actually need to concentrate on your screen od boredom. Fairynuf if you stay stuck it MIGHT be quicker but it means you 100% must pay attention which is gay.

just noticed someone said pro rifle barrels was 94 exp each... i workred the above out with the knowledge it was 91 exp per craft so that means its even quicker... except your brain will drain to the max
to be honest i cant be arsed with these fookin pro rifle barrels but im too much of a perfectionist to make sh1te weapons before i get master... must have master!
for example i never sold anything as an artisan... the day i made master i made 100K cr in 1 hour!!!

I have everything but the 2 gases. I've got about 1/4 of the skevon and 1/4 of the hydron 3 that I'll need. Went to every resource vendor on my galaxy (Intrepid), and that was all I could find. Worst case scenario, it's 25% less pistol barrels I'll have to make. I will keep looking...

If anybody has any of the following on Eclipse let me know am willing to buy
40 Thoranium steel * 1,105=44,200 Thoranium
80 Skevon gas * 1,105=88,400 Skevon

This is a great guide. If anyone has any Skevon Gas on the Natius server, my other character needs it bad!

I went from 0420 to master yesterday using heavy warheads just made a macro that (throw in an extra /next; to bypass exp) that was every 9 seconds it was great. Only resource I had trouble getting was thoranium steel.

hydron-3 spawned on ahazi last week, i made master in less than 8 hours! this guide rocks, if you can get the resources do it, if you cant get them, wait until you can!

I suggest if you can't find the heavy warhead resources continue to make Medium warheads. I wasted a lot of time looking for resources that just aren't spawning on Corbantis right now. It's been 2 weeks and nothing. 182 exp is better than nothing. The skevon gas, hydron 3, and thoranium steel are very hard to find it seems.

You rock VaMage. this is a great guide. Better yet Hydron-3 gas and Skevon gas are currently mineable on tatooine on farstar. I wanted to try weaponsmith before but the mindless "100,000 barrels" grind just wasn't gonna happen
If anyone's interested (and plays on FarStar) I found a mid-80s deposit of Skevon gas about 1K north of Bestine.

Wow, thanks for this guide! Starting at Novice Weaponsmith last night at 1:30am Ihit Masterright before server down at 7am EST.
It could've been done faster but I had to slow down my macro cause I started drinking beers half way through the grind.
