Those of us who have invested millions in Krayt and Gorax enhancements are going to see the value of these drop considerably. Less and less people are going to be happy with anything that isnt enhanced....


Do you know many players who were happy with anything that wasn't enhanced and didn't want something betterbefore?


I don't think this is going to be good for the proffession in the long run at all... it may be a quick buck but the bubble is going to burst if things don't change soon.







I bow to the inevitable, these will be nerfed even though they don't drop nearly as often as it might seem from posts here. Check the BH forums.


Also, wasn't there a mini-outcry about 'over-powered' ALRs dropping a short while ago? Now, something is dropping that will enable us to compete with these weps, something that brings crafters back into the loop. The response?? Nerf the ALR drops, and nerf the loot that enables us to compete. Marvellous.

It would be cool if they added parts that had similar stats to krayt/gorax loots but added stats like +10 ranged defense or other things similar to what the ROTW loot/reward weapons have. That would make things more interesting without turning all highend weapons into cookie cutter crafts with similar capped stats.

I did over 70 missions this weekend on my BH alt. I had 3 drops. 1 drop of powercells (179 damage -.79 speed -7 SAC stack of 4) and 2 scope drops (stack of 8 +62 accuarcy -.69 speed) and (stack of 7 +64 accuracy and -.69 speed). I'm waiting on a Trando Rifle barrel and then I'll attempt to make a Trando Rifle using the powercells and a scope. I did make a Scatter Pistol for a friend using one of the +64 scopes and a 172 damage Krayt Tissue. It came out as 1.90 speed +64 Accuracy 948 max damage and 80 SAC (Kinetic Damage , damage didn't change using a scope). If I had used the power cells in it, then the SAC would have been lower and the speed ever so slightly better. I don't think it's anything game breaking, I think those that are willing to put the time and effort into looting these thing should be rewarded for it. All of these were also looted off of 32K+ Health Bosses. Not the easiest kill in the world. I think it's a nice change, I look forward to working with more of these components.

I only tinker with the WS profession, but just my 2 cents on these new upgrades: I would really like these to be min damage and sac enhancments.

There is currently no way of working on min damage...would be cool to have that option even if it was a rare componant.
Also would be nice to have something new for melee weapons.

Dosn't matter how rare these are..people will farm and farm and farm until they are the only thing used.

this is something i continue to post when the devs ask about problems/bugs/etc.




That's all I can ask for .

I was ranged for about 16 months or so of my 2 yrs, 3 months of SWG. I switched to TKM/BH after a year and a bit, then back ranged post-CU.

Now, I'm a swordsman because Melee was so damn fun.... there's just something about standing toe-to-toe and beating a jedi at it's own game. 1300 max PH's HURT jedi

We have *2* enhancers TOTAL. Acklay bones (only every 2 hrs) and the cube/paste combo.

Ranged now has 4 viable enhancers (Krayt, Scopes, Power Cells, Gorax) that can be looted at ANYTIME. And when was the last time anyone saw a double capped, or even a single capped, Master Melee weapon post-cu??

trust me, as weaponsmiths we complain about this as well. however, the preferred fighting style of the movies is ranged. the majority of the people we have playing know only the movies. they know blasters and lightsabers, and that's it (for ground combat anyway). one could argue it was a mistake to even consider melee as a fighting style for this system, and in the old combat system this type of style dominated. now they have made a significant change to make ranged the preferred fighting style, even though i don't think it is. i think many ranged peeps would prefer to be melee (there's something about kicking someone's arse with a stick rather than a gun), but aren't since it isn't as viable now.

this is something i continue to post when the devs ask about problems/bugs/etc.

Sorry about the lag in the shop


I moved from my medium Naboo to a personal guild hall a while ago as I ran out of space in the house and wanted to exhibit and display more.The lag while it all loads isn't enjoyable (I have a top of the range whizz-bagng system and it sometimes takes me three or four seconds), I hope the weapon and the AV-21 are.

People crash sometimes when they go into my shop 70 mini r2s and lots of other junk can do that
