Saying that a crafter should not have an increase in cl but the underpinnings for the lv based system should be changed just for us is a non starter. Its like a difference in pronounciation, absolutley irrelevant. I have smuggler 1004 and I can take out some low lv lairs with my pre nerf republic blaster. I can also go and survey on darthomir with the experience I gained from dodging ns pre cu. Im lv 24.

If cl increased for the ability to place harvestors and tend factories I dont have a problem with it.

Give me some decent protection on my crafter and I'll happily take severe movement rate limitations to avoid being incapped by Durni and other savage creatures accross the land.
