Yup I am going to get online right now and reactivate my BH. My crafter is on a seperate account haha so I should theoretically have two anti decay kits. I am also going to go to a small town and start buying up these little gems. Part of haveing a weaponsmith for me was makeing my own gold not any more sigh.

I would have felt a lot better if ADKs were a no-drop/no trade item. With the upcoming need of a variety of weapons and armor in the Combat revamp, crafters would have still done a good business. I have no qualms over a toon having one very special weapon or piece of armor that he/she wants preserved. My big concern is the multi-kit owners that will be running around in perma armor and with an array of uber perma weapons. There will be the groups of these folks representing the new elite in fighting. What to do?
It is a bit late to make ADK no-drop/no trade. A lot of $$$ has been exchanged. These things have been selling for about 15 million on my server. Make them a one time use only? Would have much preferred only one kit to reuse. *sigh*
Ideas - Maybe restrict the use of kits on crafter made items only? If the kit is in use on a weapon, then that weapon cannot use power-ups? Pearls and crystals should be lost if a LS is destroyed to get the kit back (as with all other weapons). With the new spawn rates of krayts, getting more pearls will not be nearly as hard. Maybe a lifespan timer could be placed on a weapon using an ADK. Use the weapon as much as you want, but it is going bye-bye in 3 months (as an example). Another idea is making the ADK more of a decay resisting kit....allows ony 50% the normal decay amount. Another idea for ADK weapons/armor could be complete resist decay in normal use, but a notable decay penalty at death.
I wish I had kept up with the 'idea' of this kit before it was implemented. I am going to see how this effects my business as a whole. I have enjoyed being a weaponsmith, but I am not sure how 'fun' it will be anymore. The new elite will no longer need new crafter weapons for the most part, and if needed, only the uber enhanced, presliced ones will do. I am sure the Noobs and poor will also suffer. Has there been any Dev response so far to these concerns?

everyone has not been playing for a year so not all will have such a kit.plus it can only be used on one item at a time. if say a person uses it on a gunhe has and then decideshe wants to use it on some looted armor down the road, then he must destroy the gun first. in addition, how many people only use one weapon?everyone needs different weapons fordifferent damage types. you will not lose sells over this reward.
