Doofus:Can you repair my XXXX?

me: Depends on condition. And I charge 2K for my time.

Doofus: Ok if you repair it.

me: np I don't charge if I fail.

Doofus: Ok here.

me: I can't fix it.

Doofus: Why not?

me: it's condition is 0

Doofus: huh? what does that mean?

me: someone else failed to fix it. can't do anything with it.

Doofus: So you can't fix it? I want my money back.

me: you havent paid. here

I havent crafted a weapon on Bloodfin in over a month. Only keep it for myself and friends. I hate krayt, Nym proj feed mechs, and the UBER weapon seekers. I've always made decent priced and good quality weapons. BTW thanks to any of my customers who I did provide service to. You few made it worth the effort.

Hehe, funny stuff here....

You guys must have some really stupid players on your servers. On Bria (the old beta server), I don't get many dumb people emailing me or being noobs.My theory is Ithink people respect my business or are better educated or both. There are only a few high level wep shops that are still operating. Most of the old timer smiths have quit on my server and the new ones struggle since the resources only appear once in 3-4 months. Its brutal for those new guys.

I have had a few people spamming in coronet that my guns are crap or overpriced. But people know better. Im pretty confident about the quality and price of my wepz. I don’t even care about the idiots. It’s funny. As long as my sales keep going up, people love my shop, weapons and spend tons of money, im cool with it all.

That must suck having idiots blasting you with stupidity all the time. That would drive me nutz.

You guys have forgotten the classic "get rid of a customer fast" response:

Chump : I need an uber t21

me : sorry, havent got the resources (usually gallinorian crystalline gemstone, which is never on the server)

chump : what do you need?

me : bring me some gall. gemstone, and I'll make you a t21....

week later--

chump : where can I find the gall. gemstone? I cant survey/buy it anywhere

me: gee, what a shocker. oh well.

sooo much fun to send stupid customers on wild goose chases-and plus, fits into my not being rude thread, if anybody read it

Let me offer an idiot's advice. I am not a weaponsmith, just a smuggler. I know when I see someone send me a tell and they substitute the letter r for "are" and the letter u for "you", you will not be served by responding. I promise. "r u a gud wepon smith ?" or "Are you available too make me a republic blaster with <insert componet here he or she recently looted> ?"

Both are annoying, but I suspect the person with the barrel will grasp when you say "What stats?" and then follow with "That would make an inferior gun" that they will at least understand and learn, and possibly thank for you the information and your time. Nothing can help the "r u's".

I don't place them on ignore, I kinda make a game of guessing how many tells I will recieve before the "r u" figures out I am ignoring them.
