Im not 100% sure but after using the macro to craft something that requires a crafting station I got 0xp but the next day it seemed to all be there. I could be wrong guess.

First I am new at weaponsmith, but i did master arch. with this macro and with them you can use an item that doesn't hav to be exp. on so if you are crafting an item and want to keepit just take out the practice no item part of the macro and it will make the part you need. I am not sure if there is a part doesn't need experimentation in the weaponsmith profession but if there is this is a great way to get lots of parts and not just be wasting them

I've visited this thread before and just wanted to add something that I've run into recently while trying to achieve Master Weaponsmith. When I was crafting/grinding I would get into a mode where I wouldn't pay much attention to my experience bar after it turned from yellow to green in the hopes that my trips to town would be less often by maxing out my experience each time. I found that with other professions you can store twice as much experience as it would take to make your highest skillbox. This is NOT true with Weaponsmith. I was crafting to finish a master box (77000 experience) and figured I could store up to 154000 experience before running into town and training twice. Instead I was capping at 120000 and losing materials each time I practiced.

Weaponsmith items grant the lowest amount of experience and use the least amount of resources. This profession requires a lot of clicking, moreso than many other professions. For the grind alone, plan to have roughly 500,000 units of Steel for the basics. A few notes: Hand-crafted weapons give UXP (usage experience, the experience granted when someone else uses your item), items crafted in factories give no UXP. One-use items, like Weapon Upgrade Kits, give full UXP the instant they are used, provided they were hand-crafted and not made in a factory. Additionally, items crafted in factories only give you 10% Weapon Crafting experience that you would get for hand-crafting the item. Lastly, Practice Mode gives a 5% experience bonus to hand-crafted items.

So with 5,000,000 of steelone can have his factories produce barrels and make it to masterweaponsmith with not clicking involved?

just to help anyone else who has this problem. i get this message alot

"you are already crafting"

if you set the pause between crafting kits from 1 to 1.5 you avoid this entirely. with a pause of only 1 the macro tries to load up the next kit in the macro befor the previous kit can finish. the extra .5 on the pause gives the previous kit enough time to complete, without adding to much time on to your macro.

i grind riffle barrels at a 3 second pause( with a button set to "double-click") and a 1.5 second pause between kits. every once in a while i get the other error( cant think of its wording right now) that you get when one of your resorces doesnt completely load befor the pause is up. but that doesnt happen very often with a double-click set.

the XP grind flows prety fast. o and i also took someone elses advice on this macro and combined the two macros into 1 and tweeked the slot numbers a bit. the original macro tells you to start the macro in "Slot03" wich is actualy tool bar slot 4, but your kits dont start untill toolbar slot 5-12 so if you tweek it to "Slot04" and run form there the macro flows alot smoother. and just recall the same macro at the end with

/ui action toolbarSlot00

also if your grinding weapon riffle barrels you can cut this macro down in size to 5 kits instead of 8, ive noticed whent he macro gets to long( around kits 7 and 8) i still get errors in the last couple kits and always get the double "crafting session has ended" messages...when you cut the macro down to 5 kits it should correct itself and only display one message( at least it worked for me. the macro system doesnt seem to like it when you make a realy long macro, thats probably why logix originaly had it broken down into 2 macros. one macro for all 8 kits is just to long and causes all sorts of hicups. so if your going the barrel rout shorten your macro and you should be fine. sorry i forgot to put this little tidbit in my last post.

this is great stuff. but i have 1 quesiton. is there anyway to macro the loading of the metal so that you dont have to pause at all and load them manually? the only reason i ask is that sometimes i need to walk away fromt eh comp to do other household stuff (being married is a drag). and also wha it you only have 1 crafting station? what would the macro be for that? Im kinda newbish to all the macro stuff. it seems pointless to me at first but now im understanding why there there. any help would be great guys. and that site is great for resourses but no so good for macros

The only way to do this is with a 3rd-party software program and that is against the EULA and a bannable offense.

yeah i do know about that logix, i read the post and dont see the "penultimate-ness" of the guide. this is not making corrections, its making you accountable forwhat you are posting. needless to say im abit suprised when our correspondent publicly shows her ignorance and then responds with a snide answer like the one shown above.

I think what they was saying is that if you read the whole post you would see that someone has already commented on that very thing.

Also I would like to add that when someone goes out of their way to help people in a area that they know quite well of and do so extremely well why must people pick up on stupid little things like that when they should be saying thanks for all youve done your a star and a saint
