ROFLOL - - Returning to SWG since its now free* to me (*We play EQ2 now and got the Access pass). Took a break from crafting to find some content (which was sorely lacking in November '04, not sure about now)-- andleft for EQ2. Figured I'd pop in and see whats been happening.

Its fan-(explitive deleted)-tastic !!! I have been a MWS since 4 months after launch and have heard all of these too many times too count, but I love the witty replys you all dished out!
I got the "Gimme discount, I'm Jewish" one also !!! -LOL All I could do was stare at the keyboard thinking "how do I reply to that?"

*sigh* I'm really getting crotchety in my old age.
(Background info: I have had dealings with this individual in the past and this was hardly the first time he had done something like this. Even with previous explanations, he just didn't seem to learn.)

when people asks me what stats will be if they find me some uber tissues/bones/whatever I just tell them the outcome will be a uber weapon

I wore my WS tag as I allways do as I take pride in it A new player in new player clothes comes up to me and asks me if I make weapons.
A new player in new player clothes comes up to me and asks me if I make weapons. I say sure and asks if she wants the wp to my shop.
She then asks me if I could make her a couple of Lightsabers and no matter how hard I tried explaining that jedi make their own sabers and that none-jedi couldnt do it and that even if they could it wouldnt be tradable she refused to believe me... ahh well.
Funny thing is that if sabers where tradable I could actually fullfill the order now as I unlocked a few months ago to get my sec char

Hah, thats great,...calling you a dumbass like that for something so stupid. I had an experience where i had to throw away a customer as well...
I was on the forums auctioning off a nice 30% sliced acklay hammer i made ( with 230+ bone ) and i used a silent snipe rule ( the auction ended anywhere between 8 00 - 8 30 ) I ended the auction at 8 02 and this guy said he would never give me buisiness again because i ended early and he didnt get a chance to snipe the auction. The next day I got a pm from him, who i guess forgot the whole thing asking for me to make him some nice Scythes with his materials....Sadly I had to turn him down like a sarcastic @sshole because of the way he treated me. ^_^

Dunno if anyone has caught this yet but:
I get emails almost every day asking me something similar to this-
"hi do you think you can make me a krayt 2-handed sword or hammer? If so then how much"
or
"I have some acklay bones (insert stats here) Can you make me an UBER rifle with them?"

I am ... absolutely bewildered. Yesterday, I was on my main char (my loot finder), and I was driving from my city (naboo is capped on shuttles right now), and someone pm'd me and asked if I made any armor. x.X Somehow these people are finding out our alt's names just to bug us about armor ><

Ya I get tells like that from guildmates all the time (to be expected) but now I am getting them from people I have never heard of.

I got asked for a factory crate of rockets because he liked the slice on his rocket launcher and didn't want to buy a new one. I told him I only make rockets for guildies and he asked to join my guild. Go figure..

Awesome posts! I'm a Master Armorsmith (going to be adding Weaponsmith as a 2nd prof), and we get plenty of these too! I was sitting here laughing out loud at some of these when I got a /tell .....
