Now you have your first 35,000 Weapon XP what do you do with it? I would suggest you invest it in Intermediate Munitions. This will allow you to craft Medium Warheads for 178 XP each, again in practice mode. You’ll be looking at building 49,000 XP to get to the next step, so that’s a total of 276 medium warheads. To get that 178 per, you’re going to need a bit of a laundry list, which looks like this:
40 metal any * 276 = 11,040 metal
30 gas any reactive * 276 = 8,280 gas
10 Radioactive * 276 = 2,760 radioactive
5 Polymer * 276 =1,380 polymer
85 total per medium warhead. 23,460 total resource units.

you need a personal crafting station to craft the mediumwarheads, and btw, I'm just using regular grinding materials and getting pretty much the same XP for this...this is super, ty so much
Thanks illisski,
I'm still SOL without the gas though : (

For the MS Optical mouse..another option after downloading the proper drivers/utility from microsoft is setting the mouse wheel click to double click. That way I don't always have double click on my main mouse button....saves a lot of accidental combat with NPC's...heh.
This would work great if I could just find some dang Hydron-3!! Skevon spawned on Bria/Dantooine for about 2 days...sheesh..so I pulled about 9k, but the Hydron still eludes me...until then...I guess it's about 5000 more blaster rifle barrels for me...lol

That is the correct number, it just FELT like 100k instead of a mere 10k, um how many clicks is that?. But as I said before, I am old, my clicker finger could be on those stupid new TVcommericals, so I did not mind gathering the resources.
Also, it should be noted again. I made a mistake on part of the steel, it can in fact be any metal.
Last thing, as near as I can tell, this doesn't take a single unit more in total number of resource unitsto do then any other method, it just takes harder to get resources.
Really glad to see this helping a number of you! (Maybe I'm not the only ancient american in this game? )
put a space in the schematic line.

Thanks for the info. Just curious, if you just look at the number of "clicks" rather than the number of weapons, what the difference would be?
I haven't started the grind so forgive my ignorance, but looking at the two common methodologies it seems as if heavy warheads requires 8 clicks (resources) whereas the rifle barrel requires only 2 (resources)..
So a very simple back of the envelop calculation, using this methodology, youneed approximately 8*1800 or 14,400 clicks and using the old fashion you need 10k*2 or 20k clicks.. So it's a 5.5k difference in the click factor, which is great, but doesn't seem as great considering the cost and additional time to get.
I'm too lazy to do the exact calculation and it may change the efficiency ratio, but it seems that the guide is a bit misleading saying why do 100k weapons when you can only do 1800...
