I've thought about buying a Tusken but I just can't find one with decent speed. All of them on Scylla seem to be about 6.0-6.3 - to slow for me, even with a good slice dropping that to the 5 range. hell, my T21 is at 5.3 without PUP. And my laser is at 3.2 with speed PUP. I bet there are some nice Tuskens out there, I just can't seem to find a good one with speed <6 and good HAM's.

ok, i didn't understand any of that.... What's the "vunerability bug"?

Are you saying that the AP of the jawa is meaninglessif the critter is vunerable to stun to begin with?

If so, why would creatureresists of 0 to your rifle be "disappointing"?

I just made novice, so I'm trying to understand all this. Thanks.

We have discovered that AP is only factored if the target has a resist to the weapon. If it has a vunerability to stun and you use an Jawa : straight damage, no increase or reduction. If it has a small resist to stun, you will do more damage (assuming no armour) then vunerable to stun. Light armour: go with vunerable.

ok, I get it.

With an AP1 weapon, against an AR0 creature, your supposed to get a bonus increase in damage.

so a bug that makes it straight damage withno increase is actually worse than if the resists were being factored in,as long asthe AP1 to AR0 damage increase was also being factored in correctly.

is that right?

That's just the way they are. Can't get better unless you're lucky enough to find a legendary/exceptional loot drop, and can't use krayt to boost speed because it doesn't take power handlers. It's not really worth using anyway since it's still bugged to energy damage (should be kinetic) and is inferior to the AR2 energy damage laser and E11 rifles.

Sounds to me like you need to stop dabbling in the profession and go full out with it. I'm a Master hitting Headshot 3 on a 7.6 speed T21 at the cap. Also, if you want a low HAM cost, good Consitant rifle, find yourself an E11. they are AP2, and run around 150-280 damage, preslice on Radiant. Get a good damage slice on that, and you should be pretty set.

I use my Jawa Ion Rifle on Giant Dune Kimogilia's. They have an 80% resist to energy so my Jawa Ion Rifle does more damage than my T-21, even with the "vulnerability" bug.

i use mine all the time, mostly because my laser has a bad tendency to hit very low, and im too poor to get a decent t21

That is because the resist is also in there. You have to have 50% or lower to get a "gain" from AP with a T21 (AR0), the less the better. Look for where the resists are low and if you can't find any, go with vunerable.

the best jawa's on my server are 110-220 dmg, 5.4 seconds, and about 45 mind - if i remember correctly.

dmg sliced and a 33% max dmg/16% mind powerup - mine is 380 max dmg (not the best slice) and 38 mind.
