Thread: Power Hammer
For those that sent me a PM...the looted hammers was from Mordran POI on naboo....
Unfortunately he doesnt spawn anymore.....I've waited for hours on my server. Seems he got a silent nerf,
go DEVS.....
This is on gorath server, if any other servers can confirm he still spawns plz do so..

Too late bro. The devs just nerfed bleeds and bleed stacking. Swordsman is basically pointless now.
Pointless? I cannot agree, especially for PvE, Swordsman rocks. Buffed and with minimal armor (since I am rifleman as well my stats are migrated so that it is only practical to wear a helmet, chest plate, and boots) and using only Master Brawler and Master Swordsman skills, I can solo the Tusken fort all day, and the only one who gives me any grief is the carnage champion. Lunge2 followed by Hit3 kills most of them in two to three hits. But even without the Lunge2, I can kill most things there without a problem. Same thing with Rancors. I can solo enraged rancors with those same skills, and I have take down as many as 5 at a time with Swordsman area attacks.
One of the most satisfying nights I have ever had playing this game was at the Tusken fort when I had a group of 3 or 4 other players whom I did not know ask me if it was okay if they followed me around (they did not even bother asking me to let them group with me). They were not hoping to outdamage me because I assure you they were not getting many looting rights. They just wanted to pickup the scraps of XP they could get safely as I tanked and laid waste to the fort. In fact, one of them made comment on the carnage I was doing, and I said that it was mainly because I was buffed, and I will never forget seeing in my chat window his response,"Well, buffed or not, you are kicking some Tusken @**!"
Yes, I was using both Master Brawler and Master Swordsman skills, and yes, I am a Rifleman as well. But I was not using my rifles at all, and the majority of the damage was being done by my Swordsman skills. And I have every confidence that any Master Swordsman could have caused just as much carnage. Yet, the entire night, I never laid down one bleed, and that was before the bleed nerf. And, as I recall, I made something like 27K just from the credits I looted that night.
Yes, non-stacking bleeds is a major nerf, and trust me when I say I feel the pain. Since I am a Rifleman as well as Master Swordsman, I lost 3 additional bleeds to the stacking nerf. But while bleeds are helpful, especially in leveling, they are not the most important skills. HeadHit3 does 4x the damage where as MindHit2 only does 2.5x the damage. Even before armor and resistance factors affected the bleed size, unless the fight lasted longer than 40 seconds (two bleed hits), it was, more often than not, more efficient to do a single HeadHit3 than to do a bleed. Even then, for the bleeds to be really useful, the fight would often have to last at least a minute (three bleed ticks). For high level mobs, yeah, bleeds were a boon. But for your average to upper levelfight in PvE, I almost never bother with them.

anyway, the NPC he's talking about is Mordran on naboo
he drops powerhammers and composite. sometimes exceptional of both types
tho i do have a 800 damage player crafted powerhammer on sunrunner, heh,
