Some servers didnt get hit by the pre-cu stock nerf btw. Makes it easier when you can add 40min/max lol.
Yeah this should actually be corrected, you know which servers still ahve these?
I tested all mine too... except with friend and alt jedi running defense macro's etc..
I just posted the numbers for the "math" of it all.

Here is a nice 403 dps ALR , recognize the crafter anyoneThe item has a slice but no PUP.
As to a second point, this item has disproved the slice cap value as listed for an ALR...
edit... have not got the exact stats but with a full speed slice it's over 430 dps now.... Perfect me my requirements (I am melee - only have ranged shot - but want something to whip out when I get rooted etc... )

People really overlook what a good shot ranged shot is, is has 4x the damage/SAC ratio of any other special move and is fast.... Clever prople will soon catch on that DPS does mean something after all

I have seen many say that ranged/placed shot gives a higher DPS than higher level specials. However, to me it feels that head shot/critical still kills quicker (even if ranged/placed is pretty good). Have not made any real tests taking number though.
But I wonder if the good results with ranged/placed shot is when people are using a macro to fire their specials. People have reported (ie it is bugged) about using macros to fire specials could give you a much higher firing rate than you could by firing manually (I think the second special fired would use the delay of the other special ie ranged shot so both specials used the delay of ranged shot or something similar).
I personally don't think ranged/placed should be able to give you a higher damage over time than using higher specials, that is plain wrong. I think that combo should give you best damage/sac though.
Yes - to get the most DPS you have to use a macro to fire, you just can not time it well enough without
No - ranged / placed does not give a higher DPS as such, but what it does do is enable you to fire with 1/3 of the SAC usage, given this you can use speed pups in place of SAC pups, go for a slightly higher SAC weapon that is faster etc... So given all this using ranged / place can be made to give a higher DPS... This is the way it should be.
