I agree it is a nice hammer at that price especially. I also agree however that you should use a speed sliced hammer until you have finished the speed tree. Good luck

I have 6 Hammers made with 107/263 Acklay bones, best one came out to 920 max sliced.4 got dam slices, and 2 got speed so i was happy. Unfortunately speed and accuracy on em are a biotch. Don't ever use em in PvP, they do rock PvE pretty hard though.

Acklay hammer with a dmg slice. I've got one that does 799. If you're acklay bone puts you over 725, then you get capped at 725. Then you have to hope for a dmg slice.

standard hammers cap at like 465. You aren't hitting 600 until after a slice. And your dps is better with a speed slice anyway if you don't have and speed tapes - even if you are a master brawler.
And wow... do you have any of the bones from that thing left? That's a pretty killer hammer.

just used a crafted Geo Core for a PH:
5.3 speed
152-502 damage
best one i made so far, hows it compare? =)

Yeah its pretty good.
My best unenhanced are 5.3 471 max. But then again it all comes down to the slice

Yes it is a good hammer, I made one 5.4 160-497 with +11 ideal range (I think the core was 55-59 +51 range)! And it got a speed slice.

my unenhanceds are 5.3 speed, 475, but I made a geo one that got a 34% damage slice, max damage of something like 669 nearly fainted, cause the guy also sliced a nym vk for me with a 33% damage slice up to 216 max. . . i gave him 3 times what he asked I was so happy.

yeah nice, unenhanced on Valcyn are 5.2 speed 477 max, with around -18 range mods to all...as a 12pt.

best overall I have made was for my speed capped MSwords...(acklay) 7.4? 7.2? 533 dmg but 1470ish condition. I myself rather get more life out of my weapons, and rarely sell one under 1k condition.

On lower end hammers range mods are the most important stat, you would be wise to work into range instead of condition. I just cant see a market for a 7+ speed hammer......
