Yet. Every day, more and more of these things will enter circulation.
Realize that NDKs will never go away. They will either be attached to something or sitting in your inventory waiting to be attached to something. There will always be more tomorrow than there are today. Think of it as an exponential curve. We're only at the beginning of the curve today. From here it might not look so bad. Where will we be in 2 years when there are three times as many of these things available as there are today? When every Tom, D!ck, and Harry has one? That may not actually happen, but it is a very real possibility we are facing.
Personally, I'd rather not face it at all.

The amount of complaining is unbelievable in here.
For a start, not everyone has taken the decay kit, not everyone is eligable for it, not everyone has or will play this game for a year. Many, many Jedi have got this item and will use it on their sabers. Also, it can only be used on one weapon, very very few people in SWG only use one weapon. The final point is that come the CU, all weapons will be viable in game in addition to new weapons, so look at the bigger picture and quit the pointless whinning.
Your business will not suffer because of this item. It might be effected at some point, but all in all, before and after the CU you will sell many many weapons even with this item in game.
This is a quality reward for 12 months of playing this game. Im damn sure it wont effect my business and I know I will also make use of it.

We still have no actual date for the CU/R/B so the game will still be broken until thenYeah you keep hitting your sad button, everyone else is absolutely in awe of what this game is becoming. I think Im done with this forum, I just read about the new Player Event tools and my PA and I are working out new and exciting player event ideas for many people to have a lot of fun.
I'll leave you all to weep over your failing businesses, I have a fun game to play and a full schedule of custom orders to get out for the weekend.
If you read what I;ve been posting about then you'll see I'm not that bothered by the loss of business. I feel that the people who can't afford 800+ hammers or 700+ LVAs are going to lose out now that there's nothing stopping them from using it on durnis.

I have tested the deed regeneration when you destroy the weapon on the live server, and the deed DID come back!
See, THIS is what I have issues with about the anti-decay kit. It should be a one use thing, not "I can use it on whatever I'm grinding at the moment". That's pretty flipping silly. I was always under the impression that you'd use it ONCE on ONE item and that was it. You're done. Being able to swap it between items in this fashion is not what I thought we were getting.
I'm going to go through channels to raise this issue, because it's ludicrous that you can do this, IMHO. I didn't think this was going to be a big deal, but now I'm not convinced.
I'll see if I can't get some info for you and permission to pass it along. Not happy at the moment. >=[
Go go go !

I'm taking a wild stab in the dark here but if it's anything like what's happening on Infinity then alot of those custom orders will be for Krayt weapons. If they're not then apologies. But what I am seeing is a virtually endless stream of requests to craft custom Krayted weapons. Due to the factory runs for the ABPHs they aren't a quick item to make. I have 12 factories thanks to friends/guildees so can run alot off at once but the ordersstill take alot of time. Continual custom crafting soon becomes a chore, not everyone can play for long hours, to the more casualgaming WS keeping up with it can occupy all gaming time.
Once upon a time Krayt weapons were a pleasure to make and were to be treasured. Now they're two-a-penny and there's nothing at all unusual about them. Krayt weapons are rapidly becoming the norm. I don't like this, I love(d) being a WS, it's the only prof I really had my heart set on but it seems our normal ranged weapons are heading into relative obsolesence. I've long been selling lower-end speed sliced Acklaybatons/PHs on the bazaar (okay mostly they do sell fairly quickly but sometimes can hang around for a couple of days), and for Krayt weapons the same thing is almost here.
Where do the recent changes leave our regular weapons? In limbo it seems, until the revamp. There have been alot of very good changes to the game lately but WS have been hit hard, and I don't just mean in the pocket, if the economy changes then fair enough we'll have to adapt. But the economy isn't what being a WS is about for me. Personally I think our bread and butter items have been devalued in an extreme way.

I do understand your problem, but you only have a problem if all no-decay kits go to weapons. Some will go to armor. Some will go to MOD clothing. Some will go to rare drops. Some will go to unique rewards. I think that this spreads out the impact fairly broadly.
As for those who have lots of money, they always like to buy more toys, and they'll pay more knowing that they can get no decay kits for them.
If you have the money, buy the kits up. Apply them to your best work. Charge lots more for a no-decay uber weapon.
