Logix,
I don't know if you'll be able to answer, but I'll try anyways. Has there been any sort of discussion towards changing the weapon schematics(namely the Long Vibro Axe and Vibro Lance) to higher base stats, or require a reinforcement core, thus allowing them to be Acklay enhanced? As a Pikeman and a Weaponsmith, it's pretty ridiculous that for me to be competitive in PvP using polearms, I have to use looted weapons. All Vibro-based weapons are held back by limited loot components, compared to other popular weapons, such as the Stun Baton, Power Hammer and Gaffi Stick, to be specific. Whereas those weapons are able to be enhanced by (relatively)easily found Acklay Bones, the Vibro-based weapons are limited to Nym loot, which frankly sucks, or NS Vibro Motors, of which pages of rants on the obsurdity Axkva Min can be found. I realize this would leave out the Vibroblade and Vibro Knuckler, but Fencers and TKM's have it pretty decent with weapons already.

Decided to skip sticking to melee only (as the pike business went south with the looted stuff). Will have to wait for the CR and hope "The Man" doesn't stick it to us
Congrats on your Jedi toon. I haven't spent much time working with mine simply because I see no reason to rush into a broken system (the FRS). =)
I dunno why your pike biz is so slow, mine has been booming the past 6 weeks or so. Must be all those people grinding it out, though sales started to pick up when the DWB opened (apparently most things in there only have electricity vuln).
The High End Pikeman on Naritus use looted DoT pikes..bah..I'll PM ya..no sense wasting space here..except to obtain a higher post count..
heh.

High-end Pikemen on every server use looted Pikes
Only reason I have a crafted Pike on my quickbar is to land a KD.

I think it's more important now, than ever before, that a list of known issues become public, with suggested (ultra-loose) time frames for fixing them. Until we get "hardish" answers on when important fixes are coming, SOE is taking money from those professions with major issues and they aren't getting what they pay for: A consistently updated MMORPG with some semblence of a plot.

I had that covered by 'representing' with the Guiness.

I can't tell you how many times a new customer asks me about grenades. I am certainly glad to see that there might be a glimpse of hope on this, as they are certainly would be fun to play with (assuming I never pulled the pin

There was no particular discussion on this issue. However, there was no particular discussion on any specific weapon/weapon changes, most of the discussion wasjust verybroad. But I'm still sure most weapons are going to be tweaked and adjusted to be more in line with the weapons of their peers in the coming months, especially those (like most melee-based combatants) who have it the worst.

Man, you guys got Shiner!
I was the one who bought the Bock and by the time I got to the party there were just 12 sad 'lil empty bottles sitting on the table.
Anyway ... what Logix said. A lot of us combat corrs pushed on our personal weapon issues and the outlook looks very promising for a lot of that stuff.

man, that would be awesome if we can get input on tree placement. there are some tweaks that need to be made to make many weapons at least SOMEWHAT useful, but one thing that would go a long way is to increase the required XP to move up the trees. i am talking at least a double, or a decrease in XP given by creatures. no win situation here, as it will be considered a nerf no matter which direction it goes. perhaps the rebalance of HAM will help slow people down, but i am not at all optimistic at this point until i can see some numbers on what they intend to do...
