Theres probably more different accents in England than there are in America, I know alot of players from England and none of them say "Crite". Probably the only person that would is the stereotypical English person that alot of Americans think we speak like.
It's not a matter of whether I think something or not, it's a matter of what I see English people on TV speak like. I have never been to the UK personally so I have not been able to hear it for myself, but unless all of those people you hear on TV, and my friends mother and father are playing one huge joke on us silly Americans, then every English person I have heard is a "steriotypical english person".

Forget accents, most of the differences in England come from dialect. You have many dialects of English, plus Scottish Gaelic, Welsh and Irish.
If you wanna get into accents, there are about 25 classifications for 'dialects' in the US. Some of the 'interesting' ones are Cajun English/Fench, Creole, Ozark and Appalacian
I have a hell of a time understanding our imported Bostonian sometimes

Coronet - 'Coro' like coronation, 'net' as in... net
carbine.. exactly as in the real world - 'car' like the vehicle, 'bine' like the beginning of 'bind'

Regarding the pronounciation of 'carbine'... while I personally subscribe to the carb+bine (would rhyme with barb+fine), I've also heard 'carbine' pronounced like carb+bean and 'carbineers' subsequently pronounced carb+beaner with the stress on the second syllable. Yeah, I know, it sounds wierd, but Gun Historians on the History Channel wouldn't lie... or would they
?
As for Coronet, I'm sure cor-o-net is correct, but I personally like the Metropolis Sophisticat pronounciation of Cor-o-nay, may even roll that 'r' for a touchof Euro-galactic-trash resonance
.

according to Dictionary.com, both are correct (as far as the last syllabel)
It would never be a '...b-b...' sound though, the there's a syllabel break between the r and b (and there's no 2nd b
