Unless you are in England. Then it is Crite.

why is it Crite if you live in England?
I live in England and I say Crate like everyone else.

Then I guess you don't have an accent.

Bad American humour at trying to emulate accent.

Who said I am American? I would admit to having an accent if I lived anywhere else.

you've also got to take into account the dozens of completely different accents in the UK...
one will sound like crate, another like croit, another like cret, etc, etc

Theres probably more different accents in England than there are in America, I know alot of players from England and none of them say "Crite". Probably the only person that would is the stereotypical English person that alot of Americans think we speak like.

Also, if you're into the radio dramas, Obi-Wan says that he scared the Sandpeople away with the call of a Krayt dragon and he pronounces it like 'crate.'

Tip to LEC/SOE: Sci-Fi MMO players don't necessarily belong to the same resource pool as fantasy MMO players.

Ouch, bud. That's pretty harsh coming from someone

whose creativityamountsto "Quad Damage Weapons".

Let me guess, prior to the geniusin that title, you'd spent

late nights pacing your room with sweaty palms wondering

if "uber-weapons" would be amore efficient title. Hell, maybe

just "weapons".

Sorry for trying to bring a little flavor to the game, Mr. Prickey P. Prickerton.

Your witty retort was so good that it needed to be posted on the forums and PM'ed to me. Impressive.

Oh yeah, knew I'd heard it somewhere else too.

I'm quite sure they don't sound like that in game though

I was taking into account the one that I usually hear. If I cares much about taking them all into account, I would've taken every accent in the entire world [that I know of] into account, and that would have just taken too long. So I stuck with the one.
