Most of the schematics made from patch day are just about out of the factories and on the vendor. While these sales have gone through the roof, my sales of other weapons has not been affected in any way. My regular sales are up in fact. I was already one of the better ws on the my server producimg some of the best weapons prior to publish 7,and have plenty of money. It's not about the money. It is about bringing the best weapon possible to the customer and to meet their needs.

Its about sales, not really credits, but sales. I want enough credits to survive, but beyond that I dont care about credits. What I do care about is sales, this is what validates my countless hours of grinding, resource gathering, and crafting.

Lurax, consider this, what about the people that reach the '100 million' mark you set or get their 12 points now. Don't you think that they 'deserve' to be as good as the other 12 pts?
For as long as those 1 day weapons exsist- they won't be.

as you'll see in my first post on this thread, I agreed that those 1day schems need nerfing. In fact, I think including the system for 1 day is possibly sony's worst mistake yet. My post was in response to statements like:
"2) It gives MORE of an unearned advantage to 12 point smiths over other smiths
3) It's just the right thing to do when a patch that should have never been pushed was pushed anyway."
Personally, I felt that changing between the 2 crafting systems, whether temporarily or permenantly, would be detrimental to the in-game ecnomony. But the proposed system that was removed was a better system, and I'm sick of hearing people who have been unable to acquire +20 experimentation whine because people who DO have it had the ability to make better stuff than them

Hello I am a weaponsmith who'earned' his 12 points, by crafting for hours and hours and hours.
However, on 3/17, the power went out at my house for the whole day. Normally, I log on most every day but, due to not having any power, I was unalbe to.
I have been gathering weaponsmith resourses from almost the beginning, and have been able to make weapons on par with the best smiths on my server until last week.
Now, thanks to not being able to log on for ONE day, my weapons are significantly inferior. How is this Fair????
I just have to deal with the fact that Joe Smith next door, who recently started weaponsmithing, but had cash to buy his 12 points right away, has better weapons than I do reguardless of the fact that he has been collecting resourses for 1 month, while I have done it for 9 months. Last week, I could best him in every single weapon by2-5 points of damage and/or .1 speed. This week he kicks my trash by 20pts or better. Yep, sounds fair to me.
OK, enough whining from me... Based on SOE's past performace, it is fairly obvious that NOTHING will be done to change this. The schematics and weapons made on this ONE day are not going to disappear. So, I'll just suck it up and keep crafting. Sure, Im still selling weapons. I have a very loyal customer base. It's not my business that was hurt so much as my pride. It doesn't bother me that other smiths will be making multi-millions off this and I won't... What does bother me is that my weapons are going to be significantly inferior for a long time. I take a lot of pride in my work, and it sucks to have that work blown to pieces by oneunintentionallybuggedday.
Just my 2 cents

if you'll scroll up a bit you'll see that I agreed these schems should notexist. I think allowing the changes on live for 1 day was one of SOE's bgigest mistakes.
My comments were aimed at those people complaining about 12 point crafters having a huge advantage over 10 pt crafters. It's only poor design the prevents us 12 pt weaponsmiths from really benefitting from our extra points in the current system, the new system was just more logical and superior than the current one. It's truly a shame that there's no way to implement it right now without seriously damaging the in-game economy (damage has been done anyway).

Take 'em out.Plain and simple,12-point smith who logged on on "Craft Day" should not have the ability to possess hundreds of schematics made that will carry him/her into many coming months. (With a fleet of BER13 harvesters that were used to collect the resource before that patch, I have no doubt that it will be a long time before some of us smiths run out of the resources required to build the weapons made on that day).Giving that kind of monopoly was not what the experimentation was about. 12-points smiths who did not log on that day or got their 12 points after the patch should not be put at this disadvantage from this 1 day. Allowing schematics be created on this day or just even allowing this change see live for 1 day was the worst mistake SOE has done to date for crafters as a whole.
Sometimes I really do feel that the devs underestimate their players and the intense drive to be the best, especially when it comes to weaponsmithin' Did they really think that schematics wouldn't be made? And notice, not one Dev has commented on this yet. Hehe, sad.

Lurax if you look farther down in the first page I clarified ( I was tired when I wrote this first) that I meant and UNEARNED advantage of 12 point smiths who could log on that ONE day over 12 point smiths that couldn't.
Anyway...doesn't matter....SOE doesn't give two **edit**s about anything "in game" ...christ I got better customer service in EQ on the test server where no customer service is given...
