I like this but, I still think there is max damage and speed on non loot components and weapons. So no matter if you get 100% OQ or 50% OQ you are only going to get the same max stats on a weapon with experimentation. I would like to try this to see the max damage and speed is on each non looted weapon or component but I am too lazy, And do to the recourses you can not get 1000 oq to see if I am right. But it would handy tool so when I hit the max I use my experimentation points some where ells. May be there is one made all ready and I have yet to see it. If there is point me in the right way.

Story of my weapon smith career have the recourses that all would drool over but to lazy to sit in front of the crafting station and make weapons.

I'm a new Weaponsmith. Bravo! This chart really helps me keep track of my progress and gives me targets.

Thanks!

So since it is particularly hard to get resources on some servers, which one has had it the hardest.

I know on Ahazi, we waited about 5 months before a T21 could be made.

By far the worst out of the servers I have played on though is Corbantis. Ostrine is selling for 150 cpu in some cases, along with good polonium and plumbum iron being rare. Good news though, just had a really nice thread of Carbonite Steel this week with 4 stats in 900+ range. What is hard to find on the other servers?

Look say you’re making VK max speed is 2.1 or 2.0 made with none looted Components, if you hit 2.1 experimentation is over if you have more experimental box to fill in the damage speed area does not matter because you are not going to get it under 2.1 speed. You understand now.

So recourse does need to be 1000 OQ to reach the max damage and speed on a weapon.

Ok now I get what you are saying BUT to get those max stats it's going to be within a few % of what I have listed above. My rule of thumb is if you can get within 5% of these maxes more than likely the stats aren't going to get much better.

In my example above with Adv Proj pistol barrels, even if I ger perfect iron it will only add about .5% more to what I have. IE it's not worth searching for that "perfect" spawn since they aren't going to get any better.

This thread isn't to say "Hey these are the max % and will get you the best weapons", it will, but these are more to say "hey here is what you can shoot for, that 60% on the repub blaster doesn't mean it's bad, it means you are probably maxing the stats already"

I did this for 1. I was curious as to what the maxes were. 2. If I'm abitious enough I'll use the info to figure out the stats on the perfect weapon. 3. lots of people ask "how is this weapon I made compare to others"

Now with this list people can see where their weapon is compared to the best possible anyone can get ever. This of course doesn't take into account what resources have spawned on certain servers.

I'm digging everywhere for information on how this works.. but not having any luck.

From what I can see is if the resource only has one of the required stats (ie Iroluun gas in ABPH's) the OQ counts as 100% in the schematic and the weight goes towards the copper and aluminum for conductivity. So the schematic in game that says 66%/33% is wrong. Essentially it's 87/13 for the metals and 100% for the other resources.

As I said I used Jenner's tool for the theo max info, in that tool

5 units Diatium Copper 82.05% max ((794 cap (per tool)x .87 = 690.78) + (1000 x .13 =130) = 820.78)/1000 = 82.078 "hmmm there could be an error in the tool"
16 units Iroluun gas 100% max
5 units Ostrine Carb ore 100% max
8 units Phrik 82.57% ((800 cap x .87 = 696) + (1000 x .13 = 130) = 826)/1000 = 82.6
10 units polymer 100% max

Total resources is 44

5/44(0.1136363) x 82.05 = 9.32
16/44(0.3636363) x 100 = 36.36
5/44(0.1136363) x 100 = 11.36
8/44(0.1818181) x 82.57 = 15.01
10/44(.2272727) x 100 = 22.73
Total 94.79

Please if I am totally off the wall with how I calculated this let me know what I did wrong and ignore this thread because that is how I did all of them. From what I've seen these figures are correct and I have almost perfect resources in some of my stuff and the experiment percentage almost matches.

For example my Adv Proj Pistol Barrels using

Duralloy Steel 997 (1000 cap) HR 999 (1000 cap) SR (max % 100) 99.8%
Plumbum Iron 562 (581 cap) HR 486 (498 cap) SR (max 53.95%) 52.4%

They come out 83% experimented and my calcs above say 82.98% for a max.

There may be a couple % difference due to rounding in places. BTW resource caps in Jenner's tool match the ones listed in this thread

Either the tool is wrong or you are trying to base everything over 44 units and you are making mistakes in the process.

I'll make this very simple.

Lets say, for sakes of discussion, that ALL your materials have 1000 OQ andyour copper and aluminum have 800 CD.

To figure out CD average13 units total(8 aluminum, 5 copper)

(800x5+ 800x8)/13 = 800

To figure out OQ average 44 untis total (all resources have oq)

(1000x5 +1000x5 + 1000x8 +1000x10 +1000x16)/44=1000

Now that we have the average CD and OQ the schematics says the CD matters twice as much as the OQ does (66%CD 33%OQ) so we can break things up into 3 parts and divide.

(800+800+1000)/3000= 0.86666 so 86.67 is the max value of experimentation.

Ok then please use you calculations for Adv Vibro unit and VK and tell me what the max exp % would be according to how you did it above.

I already confirmed those calcs are correct in the 147 VK thread.

Can someone else please confirm who calculations are correct?

Ok see what you are getting at with the post. Does any one know of a post or a web site that has the max states of weapons and or components? I have a rough idea but I see those empty experimentation boxes and just have the erg to put Keep filling the boxes in. If there was a rough guide it would help me and others a lot. I see the guides for the looted weapon but none for the every day smith. I would try to do it but I am no where near the quality weapon smith of some of the vets. Or is the mystery cap asking too much.

You Adv Vibro unit Calculation is fine. I assume you used 375ish Desh and 760ish Platinite? If so your result is fine.

OK, apparently my formula works for items that have stats in both the required fields but doesn't in stuff like the ABPH's. So for now ignore those components/weapons with resources that have only 1 of the required stats. I'll have to recalculate those when I get a chance and update the list.

I just confirmed by experimenting a ABPH with my current resources and used my calc and your's. Your calc matches Jenner's at 79.8 but mine came out 82.92.....actual experiment in-game came out 79% max for a 20-40 -0.39.

From observing how the stats changed per full 7% experiment (great result) it rose 2 min 3 max (forgot to look at spd). Judging that there is still ~7% eft to get max that means best possible ABPH's are ~22-43. I've seen people say they've gotten 21-42.
