This happened to me as well. No matter what number I typed in past 120, it would bring up a Control Unit, even though I had well over 120 schematics. It just takes patience LOL, that's about all I can say. Sometimes when I'm macroing, and stop to destroy the barrels in my inventory, I'll start macroing again, and this time blaster rifle barrels will come up in the tool instead of projectiles. I did not touch the macro, rearrange my schematics, or learn any new ones. After a few minutes of running around, reclicking the macros and waiting for them to end, I was back to projectile barrels. Come on, there are bugs with every aspect of the game, what made us think macroing would be perfected?

It is important to understand what D'Tox says. The whole purpose of macroing is to save a few seconds on item creation. Only use items that require two or three ingredents. Projectile Rifle Barrels only need steel and any other metal. Two double clicks takes about 3 seconds, which is also my /pause time.

If you are going to try to include opening your crafting tool in your crafting macro (making it all one macro) then you really really need another pause command between your toolbarSlot and selectdraftshcematic commands. This is especially true if you have a ping over 100 to the SWG server. I don't know why, but sometimes it seems that the slower your connection, the longer it takes to open your crafting tools and what not.

Also, like others have said, try filling F9-F11 with crafting tools and making F12 your crafting macro. The Projectile rifle barrel takes ten seconds to make. So with three crafting tools running, they will be finishing the item about the same time you go to call on them again. I'm not sure how long it takes to make a Ryyk Blade, but I'm sure the same rules apply.

Furthermore, I have not solved the problem of auto-filling the ingredients or only practicing items while macro-ing. I'm trying to keep everything in game, so please do not post about third-party macro programs here. I am only taking advantage of an in-game system. I think running a third-party program in the background will be seriously pushing the limits.

Finally, if you are having problems with your macros, try each of the first few commands by itsself. A very very common problem is when no crafting window appears and after the pause is over, all you see is the "This crafting session has been ended" message twice. If this happens, manually open a crafting tool, and just use the message window to type in /selectdrafschematic XX. If your syntax is right, it'll open the schematic with no problem. Breaking down a macro and trying each step on its own is great way to get things working and to check syntax.

Again if you are having anymore problems, just continue to post.

http://www.cameroncole.net/ac.html

step : 1 d/l load ac tool

step : 2 check under swg macro;s for one by spider-something

step : 3 cut and paste it into the actool box, save it before u alter it,so u have a master copy

step : 4 start up swg normally

step : 5 alt tab back to actool website, under the macro section follow the instructions on setting up the mouse positions using object mapper(part of actool)

step : 6 configure actool to u settings ie mos pos, shcmatic number ect, this will take u a while to get the hang of it,the macro tells u what to alter, however it took me an hour or so to configure it to my system settings

step : 7 hit start and test the macro

step :8 put on a cd/video sit back and watch the magic work,

this macro is set up to make projectile rifle barrels,it will loop endlessly till u run out resources and will not stop, but remember not be afk while u use it

p.s the site appears to be down at moment or my ISP is prolly playing up,so my steps are not 100% reliable, but u shpould get the idea

Try this to figure it out: Type each command of you macro as a message. As you type each command you should see what each one does. If one fails, look at your syntax and make sure you typed the right one in. I know for sure that the /nextcraftingstage command works. Do this step by step with single commands and see if there might have been something you missed.

Zembla- I just re-read you post and realized that there is probably nothing wrong. If you open your crafting tool in the macro, the only screen you see is the ingredients screen. After you add the necessary ingredients, the window disappears all together and poof! there's the item in your inventory. The /nextcraftingstage command goes so fast it looks like it just closes the tool.

Wow, it works for me, and it works extremely fast. However, I let my inventory fill up and I had to destroy the crafting tools and remake them, because they seemed to have permanently jammed. Also, it's extremely slow for me to destroy items, so I can't use the entire macro. However, just the fact that I can get to the first step with /selectdraftschematic is extremely helpful.

Q: How did you find the command '/createprototype'? It's not in the Help list. My thought is that they MUST have a 'practice' command, as every command they have seems to be available in text. We just have to find it.

Third party macro programs that add the resources for you and are fully automated are CHEATING! The developers never wanted them used and took steps in beta to prevent them from being used. Macros that come with the game are never fully automated and can't (in theory) be endlessly looped. It's not a matter of enjoying the mouse clicks, it's the fact you are cheating if you aren't clicking the mouse. Why play the game if a computer is playing for you? Makes no sense to me. I can't believe there are people out there that support this type of thing. Little f*cking rich kids used to getting everything they want as soon as they want it.

When your tools won't work because you have made a ton of x item and filled your inventory:

Open the tool with your cursor. Right above the Start Crating Session radial button another will pop up telling you that you can retrieve an item from the crafting tool's hopper - click it - it empties the item into your inventory.

This will get you up and running, err, I mean grinding in no time. If you run more than 1 tool, be sure to check each one before you start your macro again.

Other than that, sometimes my tools get out of synch and I have to use the /stopcraftingSession to get them back to operation. Hope that helps you save your tools.

To be clear I have no problem with the macro tools and commads provided to you in game by the developers. There is nothing fully automated there and there is a gate in speed in which production can be done.
