As to your second, you are aware that there are infinitly more ways to get money in this game and still have a master smith title? I persoanlly can stand solo infront of a canyon Krayt, I can solo the Geo cave. any number of things. If you are choosing to limit yourself to the specificity of WS, then you really can only blame your self.

And exactly how will these make you any money?

Once everyone has the best weapons they can get noone is going to be buying any loot from these sources anymore.

Even now noone except noobies is going to buy stuff unless its the very best.

40 sets of 11 krayt tissues = 40 millioncredits cost atleast to get a 35% dmg sliced krayt T21, think anyone is going to pay that?

Here is the gag. With a antidecay kit grinding weapon and best weapon are the same. You can do 2 birds with 1 stone.
This is the reason i never used my best weapons to grind with. I used average. Saved the best for when best was called for.

It's called scaremongery.

Fact: More people will use the kits on their jedi accounts for their sabers which has no effect on WS sales.

Fact: People with legendary weapons will use their NDK on that weapon and will still buy regular weapons.

Fact: after the CU all weapons will be viable and have a use in game.

Fact: New weapons are coming into game after the CU

Fact: 95% of people who have this reward will use it on their best/favourite weapon, very few will use it on grinding weapons.

Fact: This reward will have very little effect on the WS trade.

You put too much trust into the CU. You dont have the SLIGHTEST idea what could be in it, and you're already preaching it as truth. Not everyone has a jedi, only a few people do. True, they will be using them on lightsabers (when they fix it), but most jedis have alts, and what of their kits? People with legendary weapons? WHY WOULD SOMEONE WITH AN INVINCIBLE LEGENDARY WEAPON BUY ANOTHER WEAPON EVER AGAIN??? "after the CU all weapons will be viable and have a use in game." That is nothing more than a wild assumption. "95% of people who have this reward will use it on their best/favourite weapon, very few will use it on grinding weapons." Uhm... why use a grinding weapon when you can use your very best weapons without having to worry about anything bad happening to them?

Fact: We know very little about the CU, and what it will bring.

Fact: While not everyone uses only one weapon, if you can use a weapon without worrying about any sort of harm comming to it, you will use it with a clear concious knowing that your weapon is safe. Less decay, less sales. This is the weaponsmith formula.

Fact: You just openly flamed everyone in the forum, and you think that anyone will agree with you? Hardly so.

Fact: This item hurts 10 point weaponsmiths.

A lightsaber doesn't decay itself, the crystals and pearls you put into the saber is what decays. Devs stated you cannot put these on Crystals or Pearls.

If I have a Legendary Weapon, why would I buy any other weapons?

With this kit - there best/favorite weapon WILL become there grind weapon.

I'm not a Weaponsmith, but this is going to totally kill this profession. I am using it on a scatter I had made with a 200max damage Krayt Tissue. I will never ever need another pistol again. How is that not devastating to the WS profession?

Loads? I think you are adding to the scaremongering. Yes people have extra accounts no not everyone has taken the NDK as their reward and that is another fact.

A few people didnt take it because they didnt know it was multi-use, some opted to wait and see what would happen, but the fact remains... the figures are selling for 2m, the NDKs are selling for 25m. What do you think people will be getting?

Fact: People with legendary weapons will use their NDK on that weapon and will still buy regular weapons. why shoudl they buy regular weapons when theyhave a legendary wepon that will never decay...

Different weapons have different damage types, different MOBs have different resists.

Has it ever been different? The fact remains, unless it has 100% resists against that damage type, the extra power that a legendary weapon gives will more than likely overshadow the 10% difference in resists.

Fact: after the CU all weapons will be viable and have a use in game. yes perhaps, but noone knows when the CU will hit. If this was guarenteed to make each profession need at least 3 weapons and that the Cu would come tomorrow I dont think the outcry would be as loud

The outcry isnt loud, it's a few people scarmongering over nothing. You will not be backed in this by other gamers, you are coming across as spoilt children

And you a know-it-all! You're a 12 point smith, you have a shop, likely loads of returning customers. It wont have much effect on you, but to us who are not so lucky to have all that you do, it will hurt us dearly! Get your head out of your ass and realize there is more out there than your own bloated self. Not all of us are filthy rich.

Fact: New weapons are coming into game after the CU Again yeas, but who knows when this is gonna hit. See above.

Who cares when it's coming out, fact is it is and if you are in this for the long term and have been playing long term you will be looking forward to these changes not complaining over something that will have little effect.

Again, we dont know what's in the CU. How can we judge it so soon? I havnt seen any info on stats, damage types, pictures, names or anything with these new weapons. Dont be so hasty to pull something to your side. The CU likely wont be an advantage in your argument.

Fact: 95% of people who have this reward will use it on their best/favourite weapon, very few will use it on grinding weapons. No, but with this kit applied they can use their favourite weapon as grinding weapon, which means they dont have to buy extras...

Same reason as before, different weapons have different damage types, different MOBs have different resists.

Does it matter? I'd throw mine in my scythe and never worry about doing 200+ condition damage to it in one buff period again *cough*yesterday*cough*

Fact: This reward will have very little effect on the WS trade.this is not a fact this is your interpretation and might be right, might be wrong.

I Have seen no evidence at all to even hint at this making a difference to our trade.

It's been out ONE day. This is the high period of it's existance. People are likely rushing to get good weapons so they can throw it in. After that, our sales will likely drop to crap as the price of krayt weapons plummets. If this item remains, watch and see. I gurantee you'll see a change.

ok how about this for a weaponsmith everytime you craft a weapon you lose condition on your clothes. Therefore when you come complaining because you have to pay 20 mil to get back to 12pt smith you will know what it's like when every few weeks a person who is finished their grind or has looted/bought an extremely expensive weapon will feel when they have to spend another 1-20 mil to come back to that same point. Thats game breaking. These items are one kit per acct per lifetime and exist only after 12 months on an account. in 2-3 days it'll be quiet again and most people will still be buying stuff from you. I'm sorry but common people don't want their de-10's or scythes to die. Especially since the scythe is a two shot deal and a pain in the neck to get a decent one crafted. Weaponsmiths will not die from this nor be taken back by much. So please stop complaining about this in a short period of time you won't have this problem because there will only be a few people on the server who have them. It's something your gonna have to live with.

and seriously now that people can preserve their stuff well now they can come and look for better stuff. Not to mention how many people have exceptional items?

Not many people have exceptional weapons. The thing is, if you're going to sell weapons now, they need to be the BEST POSSIBLE NO EXCEPTION. This includes ranges andham costs. What does this mean? If you're not 12 point, you're in the dust. This is a major major major problem.

As for your question about clothing... yes that would suck, but our clothes do decay, and you can wear clothes ontop of using a weapon, so it's not really equal. You can exist with a non 20m weapon, but as a weaponsmith, very few people will be willing to buy your wares if you're not 12 point. Wearing out weapons is *NOT* game breaking. It's somewhat realistic... and I love it because of that. In mostother games, the only time you can break a weapon is when upgrading it. No problem, walk over to a vendor and buy another one. This isnt like other games though, the players control the economy, and when the brass steps in and ruins things for my profession, I tend to get vocal about it.

ok your not hearing me out it's not like every player is going to have this item. Jedi use them for the sabers and some players for special weapons. I'm sorry but some people don't make enough money to buy weapons repeatedly. As far as weapon decay kits players save jedi change templates all the time weaponsmiths will not be hit as hard as everyone fears. On another note it's always been tough if your not 12 pt thats how businesses run the person with the better and cheaper product always gets more buyers. Overall there is a limit to how many of these kits exist. IT's gonna boom for a few days but things will settle down after that and business will return to normal.

Jedis dont buy weapons for me, so I dont count them in the equation... also because they are a MINORITY... an outliar. How will business stay constant after the initial boom though? Why buy an inferior product? I hear you out, but I dont agree with your logic in the situation. I just dont see a forseeable way for me to come through this without somehow stumbling upon 50m to buy exp tapes with.
