I was playing beta3 and was going for a marksman/pistoleer character. They did a character wipe on I think the beta server Corbantis. I started a WS there because I saw that was where the money was. I decided to go for WS when the game went live and I've stuck with it since.

I wanted to show people that good, quality weapons, could be made and sold for less and still make anice profit on the side. That and the financial rewards seemed nice too.
