lol plasma? do you guys even know what your saying? plasma isn't this all powerful force.. it is just the liquid part of blood and nothing more. i'm sorry but i don't want my saber doing plasma damage rofl. the damage type should be force just like all the moves of a jedi, plasma just sounds silly.

Check out definition 4 on plasma (I put it in bold). This was taken from dictionary.com:

plasma

n 1: an electrically neutral ionized gas in an electric discharge; distinctly different from solids and liquids and normal gases 2: any watery animal fluid [syn: serum, plasm] 3: a green slightly translucent variety of chalcedony used as a gemstone 4: (physical chemistry) the gaseous state of hot ionized material consisting of ions and electrons and present in the stars and fusion reactors: sometimes regarded as a fourth state of matter distinct from normal gasses

*high five*

Or you could just use the Sci Fi Gaming terminology, which makes Plasma be a form of liquidized energy in most older games, haha... course sabers aren't too liquidy, but ohwell

yeah I see what you mean, but the higher density targets will need more resists then other things do to density..... and that means a revamp of every creature in the game.....

its kinda complicated, what if light sabers did cold? that'd fix every thing LOL LOL, to bad its not practicle

does anything do cold? lol and LSs would do heat before cold
what if they did energy AND heat?

I'm going to use a new creature that was added in on Test Center that is from one of the movies.
You remember in the clone wars when Obi-wan fought this thing?

Alright, now recall unarmed he was just running from it, but equipped with a Lightsaber, he sliced this creature up with no trouble at all. Right now, sabers being medium armor and kin damage, a saber in SWG would hardly cut through that mob nearly as fast as Obi-wan's saber did. As I recall it was one slice per leg and they were cut clean off? *Break in Continuity*

Right... but if we went by the films then everyone would beable to be killed in one blaster shot which would make the game no fun. This is not to say that you're wrong about anything else you posted. In fact, I agree with the rest.

also as a low level jedi you'll spend most your time dodgeing and doing tiny tinker hits any ways, or you'll get smashed

I hope everyone read the Jedi revamp, and know you heard it here first! I feel so good

The mods frown on necro-posting. Not sure what they'd do about it, but they don't like people doing it. Best suggestion is to make a new thread linking to the old thread. Not trying to flame you or anything, just a friendly warning

Is there a crafted Kinetic rifle? I was thinking the tusken rifle was kinetic, but I might be imagining things. If the tusken is kinetic, will the reinforced bh casings make it worth using as an alternative to energy damage? Especially since psg's can help negate a ton of my damage especially when I'm fighting Jedi.

Berserker Rifle 40 Kin 443 8870-65m
Tusken Rifle 40 Kin 443 8870-65m

Oh, btw, much appreciated for the link.

Now, a question are these guns min damage capped as well as max? I mean if I were to use some BH casings, would it raise the min damage upon crafting? And, what is the disruptor rifle? It has a 600 min dmg, is it craftable or is it a loot item.

I believe the list reports min damage as well. Casings will only add to max damage.

I believe the disruptor rifle is a Kashyykk quest reward.
