I dunno, rarely does anyone bother me when I have my MWS tag up (which has never come down since I mastered). Maybe once a week I get a tell from someone who saw my tag. Guess I'm just lucky

i been running around with my master weaponsmith tag on display 24/7 haven't had many problems
But what gets me is the tells of:
client "hi"
me "hi"
client " are u a weaponsmith"
now for me to get a tell they most probablt did a search for a Mws so why do they ask?
i was also asked the other day what to grind for Armoursmith
i RMAO reminded me of this thread
compared to u lot i think im getting off lightly

I have had another interesting request asked of me a few times. I am a new MWS and am doing my best to be a credit to the profession and make the best weapons I can. About half of my weapons stats beat the other local smiths and about half don't. Anyways I was in my shop crafting and stocking vendors when one of my guild mates comes in and a Republic Blaster I just put up for sale has better stats than his current Republic Blaster so he buys it. He then says "You should grind armorsmith too, I bet you would make some great armor!" This caught me off guard... just because I make the best weapons I can doesn't mean I am at any way interested in armorsmith or have the points to dedicate to it anyways. He knows I am already a Master Artisan, Master Weaponsmith, and working on Master Merchant... Needless to say he isn't the only one who has suggested I take up armorsmithing. Why do folks think that all weaponsmiths should also be armorsmiths? Do they think we want twice the number of 'stupid' questions? I have enough of the 'make me the best gun' requests... I really don't need 'make me the best gun and the best armor' requests.

Got this gem last night. The name has been changed to protect the naive.
Player: Hi

Player: Got a qwestun 4 u
Me: Go ahead
Player: I was on dath last nite and i got a uber vibramoter.
Me: And I'm assuming you want me to put it in a weapon for you?
*3 minutes later*
Player: ya. i want a krated t21 with da vibramoter. how much wood this cost?
Needless to say, we had an interesting Q&A session with what looted components can go into what weapons.

I was so tempted to say, "I can't make a weapon out of cheese."
I did explain that he meant Krayt tissue and than I did not have any on hand. He ask where to find Krayt Dragons and I told him. I did warn him about how tough they were. I haven't heard from him since so I would assume he was eaten by a Krayt...
