I'm having a problem grind WS at all right now. If I missed something please let me know but here is my problem.

On my skill sheet in the experience window on the left hand column I have 2 listings for my weapon crafting xp. The first listing is "Weapon Crafting" and is all the xp I had prior to the new publish. The 2nd listing is "Weapons Crafting" and is the xp I've gained post-publish. Problem is that my progression through my skills is based off of the xp pre-publish. I am gaining xp however the new xp isn't counting towards my progression.

Anyone else notice this happening to them? Any insight regarding this would be wonderful. Thanks.

Whats the best way to go about grinding for novice to master ws, its takin me forever to get just one box off blaster-pistol barrels

i was told to get firearms 1 and grind blaster rifle barrels to master but im sure there's a faster way

suggestions?

Heavy Warhead Mech's from Advanced Munitions is the fastest way, but it requires several very specific resources to make them.

I found that grinding the blaster rifle barrels wasn't even that bad only took like 480k steel or so and did it in 2 days

Heavy Warhead Mechanisms give around 750ish XP.

Certain pistols, on the other hand, give around 450ish XP.

Just put up two factories, put like 120k of steel in both, and craft about 1900 or so feeding mechanisms and pistol barrels. Then start crafting. Requires more clicks, but is WAAAAAAY faster.

Or you could craft the barrels and feeding mechs by hand, and get the xp for that as well as the pistols themselves

True, but still, crafting around 1000 of those by hand takes time and is painful. I've done it and only filled3 boxes in firearms, then did the easier way

While I'm grinding XP, my factory produces another batch, so I also save from time.
