Thread: Does anyone know what weapon does cold in CU?

Why was elemental damage removed from some weapons? For example, DXR-6 rifle does Acid and SG82 does Cold on live, but both simply do Energy on TC-5. Kinda removes the usefulness of them both.

Are there any plans to change the way powerups work so they add elemental shots. Say for example I have a CEDF Pistol(because I do:smileyvery-happy Is it possible for me to get a powerup that gives me 100 shots of cold? Or is this something that isn't possible?

Exactly like in KOTOR and KOTOR II, Except sometimes, the Color was random and you could drop 3 crystals in it... It gave a bonus to stun or electricity in a sense... and those swirly effects around their wrists really added to it

Now is this just going to be another limited use powerup, or will there be enhancements to weapons you can add? Also, will weapon powerups ever last more than 100 uses? It's a bit annoying throwing powerups into your gun constantly... so I was just wondering if you knew hehe

As of yet, the powerups are still all 100-use. The powerup Helios mentioned is exactly that, not an enhancement. I'll pull up the name when I log in.


I prefer the idea of it being apowerup though, personally, since that way, you can decide at individual battles whether you want more elemental damage or not.
