Thread: My humorous customer story ;)
Though 95% of them are ignorant and/or rude, the other 5% customers make me keep going. There was a time I thought I have taken too much from them and decided to surrender weaponsmith. Right at that moment when I was 1sec away from dropping master weaponsmith, one guy passing by told me not to stop making weapons. It was 2 months ago, and I'm still a weaponsmith.

So what does that have to do with whether the weapon's good or not? Take a peak at the vendor, then decide for yourself if it's good or not.
Good luck as a master weaponsmith. I'm sure you'll be great at it and put an end to all this unjustice we've been doing.
Since ya'll shared a bout your crappy customer i will share one of mine.
I was busy crafting (like usual) lol and a guy send me a tell...
R: Hi, Can you make me a laser Carbine?
Me: sure can you give me a few i am in the middle of something...
(kid you not 2 minuutes went by)
R: you done yet?
Me: no but what are you looking for stat wise?
R: i want 35m range on the laser...
Me: um that isn't possible
R: it's not? oh well just make one anyways...
So i proceed to make him his laser carbine...he then asks me to leave my house and travel to him to give him his weapon..
Me: Sorry i have a ton of stuff to do..You need to come to me if you want it.
R: Oh alright...i will be there soon can you meet me at the shuttleport?
Me: sure. np i will be there in about 5

so i head to the shuttleport pull out my droid and craft while i wait. he gets there and goes oh no i meant a laser rifle...i could have smacked him upside the head. lol so i make the rifle, then he doesn't want it..By now i am so mad that i want to scream...he then asks about pistols..i make a scout for him and he doesn't lkike that one...
by now i think my ears are blowing out steam and i am about ready to tell him where to go when he decides on a dl20a so we trade and he says couldn't you have gotten better range? i told him i could yes if i didn't do anything for damage on it...he leaves and rides into the sunset and i go back to crafting...last night he proceeds to send me tell after tell after tell (i am marked as afk with the basic scriprt of come check out my vendor balh blah) and finally he does all caps and says WHERE IN THE WORLD ARE YOU? I NEED A WEAPON NOW!!!! okay so after all of this just bc he needs a weapon i am supposed to drop everything for him? i don't think so. my vendor is fully stocked...but being the nice little dolly i am lol i reply to him and say just go check out my vendor and see what i have i am busy at the moment and can't make custom weapons tonight. have a great one and i will talk to you later... needless to say after sending me 4 more tells the boy finally gets the point and leaves me alone..this is just one of my goofy customers. lol

Have my share of humor from the Askers - but best had nothing to do with weapons in a sense. I think all can remember those Magic Satchels we got awhile back that were bottomless and allowed a free ride back to your vedor for those who were off planet. Well, I think it was more like Designated Residence after it got used.
I had emptied it - being found at home when it appeared, and figured to use that free ride someday coming home from Yavin4 or some other totally out there spot. I just tossed it into a corner under the Sales Backpacks and forgot about it. A week later a fellah was wandering about waiting for me to finish a weapon and he started crying and cursing. It seems he had clickity clicked on that puppy and *poof* was dropped into the middle of a lake on Lok about 8km out from Nym's. (He said he had NO designated Residence and it is assumed they dropped him where ever),
I made a comment about 'Security Is Always ON - Don't Poke About' but he wasn't amused and was totally confused as to how I (really convinced it was me who did it to him) could teleport him away like that. Needless to say he didn't come back for his weapon - but was a real hoot even so.
Big concern was the fact that he could even energize this thing - but it WAS a magic bag after all, heh. It was then that I removed ALL my storage items from the shop to a private house - didn't want to worry about more false triggers 8]
Happy to say that I havent had many of these types of customers (not that I have many customers in the first place :smileysad
Best one was at Coronet Starport, guy seemed not to have much of a clue: (sorry it's not verbatim but its the best I can remember it as)
X: Hey can you make me an uber gun?
Muuri: Umm, what sort? (so wanted to say" define uber please!")
X: One of those uber guns with the lizard stuff in it.
Muuri: You want a Krayt weapon....... what sort of gun?
X: Oh, a carbine the best you can make.
Muuri: What sort of carbine? What are you certified to use?
X: Whats the best one
Muuri: Probably a Laser Carbine. I'm sorry , I dont have the Krayt tissue's to make one of these. If you can provide the 4 identicle tissues I need to make it, I can make the gun for you.
X: Cool, where do I get them
Muuri: ............ from a Krayt Dragon.
X: Where do I find them?
Muuri: ........ They are on Tatooine, mostly around the Krayt Graveyard.
X: Cool, I'll go get some now and get back too you.
X immeadiately catches shuttle off planet, leaving me shaking my head and speechless.
Suffice to say I havent heard from him since.
And I'm pretty sure this has happend too each and every one of us who have been smithing for the long haul.
