Well, when I did grenades (which was every waking moment), that's the only way I'd do them. 1000 at a time. That's why it took me a week or so for each run of those and tha was using several factories.

On my server, they sold so having that many wasn't a big deal. And when it came to resource shifts, adding a point or 2 to a proton is NOT going to be noticed so it didn't matter to me if something better came in.

Also, I never charged 5k a grenade. Mine worked out to 50k a crate, so 2k each. Quite a bit less than 5 million credits.

I'm curious--how much did you C12/C22 grenades go for?

My pricing was as follows:

C12s - 12k (although I was running a special around XMas for 10k a crate)
C22s - 16k
Cryobans - 20k
Glops - 23k
Thermal Detonators - 40k
Protons - 50k

I didn't make Imperial Detonators due to their speed issues.

Also, I was known for having some of the best prices on the server. I went into Munitions simply because no one else would fulfill that task on a full-time basis. My goal was to get commandos the weapons they needed most, so to charge high prices wouldn't have done my goal any justice.

Sure, I'd have had more credits, but in real life where credits are absolutely WORTHLESS, making piles and piles of credits wasn't my motivation. I'd much rather have gotten a comment saying "My friend suggested I check out your store..." than seeing an amount of credits I'd never have a chance to spend.

That being said though, I was never short on credits and helped fund our city, guild, new players I ran across, etc...
