actually from what i'm seeing krayt pearls are getting very rare. I am on the radiant server and i'm seeing them constantly go for 4 million credits or higher cause the are premium grade. I tried bidding on krayt tissues on radiant and it freaking zoomed from 500k to a 2 million credit buyout. I think I better start going krayt huntin.

Yup I've taken up master rifle to hunt my own tissues, the prices have gone to outragous lately.

if it was 11 tissues, i heard of a krayt T21 going for 100 mill, not on Tempest though. So i guess if you buy for 10 mill and sell for 100 mill to some master combateer who does missions and sells loot you make a profit and you realize how insane the economy has become.

I am going to stop getting the special components all together. It is getting to the point where you cant find a customer who has enough credits to make this type of business profitiable. Not many people have 20 billion credits and if weaponsmith x makes an ackley baton with 2 more damage then weaponsmith y, ten weaponsmith y will be EXTREAMLY hard pressed to find another customer with the credits to justify weaponsmith y's investment into the bone. Now on I am just going to keep all the krayt tissue I have stockpiled and tell customers I only make weapons with the special stuff if they provide it. I wish the people would come and kill krayts again
Seems only the extrealy well off smiths can afford then now adays anyway......

I have put up my DAM sliced Jawa for sale to see how it goes in reverse. Current climate to buy the tissues for this would cost 4 - 5 million. I've started it at 2.5 million which represents a bargain. So far the take-up has not been reflective of the cost of the components - with at least one person whinging about the cost. In actual fact I sold the brother of this rifle 2 weeks ago for 3 million. It was not sliced and was slower. Ho hum, it's up to 2.7 million atm I wonder how much farther it will go.....

My sale of the Jawa has completed. Really only 2 people were bidding on it, however it reached 4.5 million. With current tissue costs, I may have just covered my costs with that, but it is touch and go (I reckon a small loss is more probable - lol if asmall loss is 1 million). I am not sure I would have made my costs if it had not been sliced.
So conclusions - I will now only make enhanced weaponary if the customer supplies the enhancement. I will charge a fee (10 - 15%) to build the weapon. I can't afford to get into these bidding wars, someone else can take the hit.

yah tissues are pretty inflated. not too too bad on ahazi but still bad. It's hard to make much profit with so much overhead and risk(especially if ur crazy like me and slice most of their krayt stuff).
Oh well,
With tissue prices going up so will the weapons, i am sure it will even out in a bit.

It is also a possiblitiy that alot of people are playing with duped credits. I have noticed that on my server it is mostly the same small group of people who are paying the 20 millions and so fourth for loot items, sort of like the buildebergers of SWG(to much money and are ass holes), but hey what can you do, anything short of a server wipe wontresolve this issue. lets all give those credit dupers a good round of applause /claps. thanks jackholes

You know what would solve all this?
If every WS slapped a hefty crafting fee on any player supplying their own loot.
WS's are happy........
Non-WS's....well....if they are rich enough to pay these prices in the first place....then a bit more isn't gonna hurt.
I just grow tired of putting a lot of effort into getting this stuff....only to make pittance on the weapons they go into.
It takes a lot of effort as a WS to maintain resources/harvesters/vendors etc.......I think we should be getting something for our efforts!
At this rate.....I'm gonna be Joon Greel - Master Powerupsmith, as these seem to sell more than anything elsethese days.

I think we have a general concensus here. Let the non-WS get the loot item and we will charge for the crafting. This may mean that profit margins are small on low value loots, but compared to making a big fat loss it's better than nothing. It does, however, mean that we may depend more on our standard fare to make ends meet, and that will meanthe pain of keeping vendors up to date, long factory runs and less time to do the other things we like to do. I bet that doesn't figure in the force sensitivity !

The really crazy thing is that you can get +5/+30 min/max from using high energy capacitors (0/+20) and looted barrels (+20/+25, my normal onesbeing +15/+15). The weapons made with them are slightly slower rather than normal, (+0.1) but for speed capped proffesions (such as BH for scatters) the buyers dont care.
