Well it was only one point and this was just a weapon that I put together for myselffrom parts that i picked up it wasn't a custom order or I would have made an unenhanced version first and been more careful. I haven't made a Czerka since they were introduced with the CU so I wasn't sure where the resources would cap. I knew that I was below the crafting cap so I decided to go for it and hoped for a slight increase in Min dmg. Oh well it didn't work. No biggie.
I really don't think the 0.2 speed that I would have picked up had i put the point to speed would have made all that much of a difference anyway.
Oh btw to the guy who said it was BS. It was a typo should said APFM instead of ABPH.

ok i was crafting this Czerka (Using +79 -0.43 Gorax Enh ABPHs) -20 sacpre-cu stock, and +58 prenerf scope and a 15-41 -9sac barrel.
I'm in a research center with ws buff and using port and cake.
After getting 96% experimentation (with 5% amazings) on dmg, i put two points to sac got an amazing and capped it. leaving 1 remaining experimentation point.
these were my stats 2.28 speed, 372-848dmg 267.8dps, +60 accuracy 73sac.
i didn't want to put the last point into speed which gives minimal improvement so i decided to throw it into damage figuring i could get the experimentation up to 99%
took a swig of port and hit experiment on damageand the final stat was.
Amazing sucess! 97% 372-848dmg 267.8dps
**edit**???
the experimentation only went up 1% anddamage and dps didn't change one bit??
Any idea what happened to my last point? I should have hada slightincrease indmg or something.
for reference i was using
382 cd 953 oq Titanium Alum
939 cd 986 oq Platinite Copper
973 cd 975 oq Polysteel Copper (for metal)
Did i hit the resource cap or was it a bug? I've never seen an experimentation point have 0 effect on the weapon.
lol dont feel bad ive made this mistake several times....putting thta last point into dmg to hope i get a different result...then theres the times i go to put my points into sac and i wind up putting them into spd instead... /sob

Better than accidentially making it a schematic, or using the wrong resource.

I have actually tried going down a point. Have anyone tried that?
I was making a Scatter pistol and got 947 max damI wanted it to cap so I put one pont more in dam and instead of going up it went one down... I have had the feeling it was happenedbefore, but I have never really been sure it was true, this time I noticed it because I was so lose to capping dam, it is really weird.
Atm I am keeping my eye out for it to happen so I can perhaps track it down.
Oh and about relocating points I did that jsut today, but points into accuracy instead of into speed
Im suffering from influenza atm so I blame it on the fever, but it was no less aggrivating for that reason

The only time i've seen stats on a weapon go down is when you get an unseen moderate or good success, experiment 2 points and you get great success but the experimentation percentage will usually not increase 7% per point when that happens.
Yea I've caught myself from putting points into the wrong attribute. I think the problem is that on most schematics the order the attributes are laid out is consistant except for a few where they are swapped around.
Never accidentally made a schematic but the first time I crafted an AV-21 i was milliseconds away from clicking the create object button when i realized that the practice mode button was checked (i'd been grinding earlier). The client was right there when that happened and i'm sure he would have been quite pissed had i done a practice on his AV-21 which was one of the first on our server.
