I consider "good" as a top2 listed on swgcraft.com of the particular resource after inputting my inquiry data. I won't use less than those, and I personally 90% of my resources are the #1, but I spent BIG dough getting them and I think it's worth it.

First, my disclaimer..I'm "a-nal"

Ok, now on the the evidence -

As the guy before me posted (which I agree to everything he said), it's in the eye of the beholder what is good. However, I can give you an example here that will show the difference. Pre-CU, the best T21 had a max damage of 413 on our server. I had little "Atlantium Carbonate Ore", so I set out to get some more..I found 3, one had an oq in the mid 700's, another in the mid 800's, and another in the 900's (i got the 413 outta this one). This was just one of multiple resources that went into the final assembly of the gun and very few quantities of units were used per weapon. The final assembly was one point dmg difference between each gun using the three types of Atlantium Carbonate Ore. So.. Which one is "good" to me? The one with the OQ in the 900's is the only one I consider good in that case. So..would you care about one point damage? I suppose it would depend on if you're crafting for fun, or crafting for dough (or both). For me, making the best I can is the "fun" part. If I just wanted a T21 to put on a vendor, I am not so sure that the 2 pts dmg difference would make a huge impact in the eyes of the purchaser or not..but I doubt that only 2 pts would keep the customers away.

Why do the noobs decide that they can be told everything and never have to waste any in-game time or money to figure anything out for themselves?

Jeez!

For ranged weapons it's mostly cd/oq 50% and melee sr100%, but that's not the question.

I mean, I don't belive most of the WS out there are using all the 1000ish 999ish 998ish resources to make good weapons. I do belive a lot are also using resourceses between 850-950. All I need to know WHAT's good for a weapons which will come out "good" and "sellable". I don't want to waste any time ending up with wrong resources.

There is not one resource that goes into any of my weapons under 900 OQ, most is well over 950 it comes when you have been a smith for a long time. there is a post somewhere which lists all the stat caps on resources, and when you go shopping look at it and see how close to the cap it gets. its trial and error, and very few of us cantell you since we dont know the spawns on your server.

Atlantium ore for T21's for instance, 600 OQ might be uber on sunrunner but not on starsider, 970 OQ 840 CD copper might be uber on bloodfin but not on bria. Check SWGcraft.com for the resource spawns on your server, or watch through a resource kit it will let you see the best spawns for your server.
